While the food at the Woodsman was excellent, the service could use some improvement. The staff were friendly, but there were moments of delay that affected the overall experience. Still, the flavors were top-notch!

If you&#39;re looking for a charming place to dine near the NEC, the Little Owl is a fantastic choice. The chicken kebab and slow-cooked beef were both excellent, and the staff were very accommodating.

Enjoyed my carvery and being able to select my own vegetables and choices of meat. Young man who served was very polite and waitress very help and pleasant.

I chose the Hedgehog as I wasn&#39;t from around the area and was going on a date. I saw previous ratings and thought it looked beautiful. It was, It was a perfect relaxed setting with lots of character. I cant wait to come back, especially in the summer as the grounds looked lovely. Thank you for a service we had a wonderful time. We will definately be returning. Staff were extremely polite and attentive, Food was beautiful, Great prices, I downloaded the app so I was lucky enough to receive 50% off mains. Thank you.

The staff were very attentive to our needs, especially accommodating my gluten intolerance, which made for a pleasant dining experience.

The staff were very welcoming and professional.    Meal was plentiful and well cooked, maybe warm the plates to keep food hot.   Knifes need replacing as very blunt to cut meat, although we should have asked for replacements.   Nice atmosphere.

A perfect warm location for a family get together. Menu choices were good and food delicious. Service quite prompt but it was a busy restaurant at the time. Had everything on the menu apart from honeypot desert that alot of guests would have had :-(However all enjoyed and not having the extra calorie intake was probably a good thing :-)We shall return hopefully in the future.
