Sat at the chef's counter for the tasting menu. The abalone risotto was the standout. Really liked watching the kitchen work.

Service was quick and friendly. Server had good drink suggestions. Made my lunch break easy.

The beef kabob plate was solid. But what really got me was the vibe—dim lighting, cozy booths, and just the right amount of background chatter. Felt like a nice little escape. The naan was a good call, too.

The late happy hour is a solid deal. Really liked how fresh the ingredients in the tropical drinks were.

The açaí bowls are fresh and tasty, no doubt. But the portion for the price? I got the 'Hapa' bowl (no coconut flakes, my usual) and it felt a bit small for what I paid. Still hits the spot, just wish there was a little more in there.

No. 6 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Honolulu

Been coming here for years, always get the orange juice. It's fresh squeezed right there at the counter, never tastes watered down or too sweet. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Cozy little spot run by a family. The menu is simple, which I appreciate. The staff were so friendly, they made me feel right at home. It's nice to have a place where the service is genuinely warm.

The owners are so nice, they remembered my name from last time! It's that kind of family-run spot where you feel like a regular after one visit. Service is always quick, too.

Crab cakes were solid. Crispy outside, soft inside, no fishy taste. Korean fried chicken was crispy too. Got my order in under 10 minutes, which is key for a quick lunch.

I really appreciate the variety of vegetarian dishes here. The ingredients tasted so fresh, especially in the quinoa salad. The staff was helpful about my dietary needs, which made the whole meal feel light and satisfying.

The fish was so fresh and cooked just right. You can really taste the quality in every bite. They clearly care about their ingredients.

Been coming here for years. The oxtail ramen is always solid—big bowl, broth has that nice sweetness, meat just falls apart. Parking's a bit tight, but that's the island for you.

Huge slices, a quarter of a large pie each! Really good value for the price.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always what keeps me coming back. They remember my usual order, and the check-ins are just right—never too much, never too little. It just feels comfortable.

Tried the boneless wings for the first time. The sauce selection is wild—went with a medium one and it was just right. Really liked that you can pick your heat level.

Been coming here for years. They still serve that warm houjicha tea at the end, just like they always have. It’s the little things that feel consistent. That’s why I keep coming back.

I grabbed a build-your-own plate today and loaded it up with japchae and kimchi. The japchae was really flavorful, and the kimchi had a nice kick. Just a simple, solid lunch spot.

The staff are really friendly and make the place feel welcoming. The coffee is smooth and strong, definitely better than the usual hotel cafe stuff.

Decent spot for a casual bite in Waikiki. Prices are fair, and you definitely get a lot of food for what you pay. The vibe is pretty relaxed, which is nice after a long day. My plate was packed, no skimping there.

Stopped by after a long beach day, pretty late. The staff was so welcoming, which was nice. Service was quick and friendly, just what we needed to unwind. Appreciated that.
