TheForkUserA really enjoyable family Sunday lunch. Our servers were really lovely, attentive but not too much so. The food is delicious.....you will not come out of here hungry! A big shout out for good value children meals.
TheForkUserA really lovely table outside next to heater. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. The Greek sangria did the trick!
TheForkUserVery welcoming and attentive service, authentic Italian food and typical Neapolitan pizza.I spotted this restaurant browsing online for our family weekend in Bournemouth knowing already what I wanted to order: pizza fritta, fried dough filled with salami and ricotta…very difficult to find normally. I was not wrong, I enjoyed every bite.Dessert was delicious too, service fast.
TheForkUserWhat an absolute gem! Fantastic food and such a lovely place too. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing - chicken terrine for him and Poached hake with a pea mousse, salt and vinegar gel, warm tartar sauce, potato scraps for me. Amazing! Both had the beef cheeks and risotto-delicious - Slow cooked beef cheek, risotto milanese, bone marrow butter and parsley Pudding if Arctic roll with lemon curd and white chocolate for him and Pistachio and Tahini Babka with Pistachio Ice Cream for me.Love red wine too
TheForkUserIt’s our favourite place to eat , the staff are so friendly and the food is always Amazing. There fish curry is Gorgeous and also best Roast dinner in Dorset
TheForkUserSix of us spent New Year’s Eve having a truly delicious meal in a really relaxed atmosphere. Matt our server was great and made sure we had everything we needed. A big shout out to the barman - the pineapple spritz was a delight! When we had finished our meal we moved into the bar area and saw in the New Year with some live music (excellent guitarist!). Make this your choice for next New Year - we will certainly be back. Thanks to all at The Mill!
TheForkUserbirthday lunch with mum and the syn was shining so wr got to dine in the courtyard which was beautiful!! the food was delicious we had 3 course from a set menu and shared everything between us bar the sorbet. the wild mushroom starter and the watermelon starter was so tasty I could have eaten it all day long!!
TheForkUserThere was no menu, which was such a nice experience. All I had to say was "yes please" and "thank you". The pace of service was perfect. The Alchemist was on hand to answer any questions about the food she had prepared. Great vibe.
TheForkUserAlways a lovely atmosphere - dog friendly, child friendly - what else would you ask for. Wonderful staff and great food :)
TheForkUserThis must be one of the best restaurants in Dorset, if not the best! Notwithstanding the fabulous fresh food that comprises all three menus (and you don’t have to stick to just one) the always friendly staff and terrific ambience make this my go-to eatery for simple evenings as well as “special occasions”.Easily on a par with Michelin starred London restaurants and better value too!Change of ownership hasn’t detracted at all, long may it continue.
TheForkUserI took my grown Son and his huge German shepherd and sat outside to eat and drink.Service was great and the food amazing. He had the beef pie and said it was the best.I had the aubergine lasagna which was very tasty
TheForkUserAmazing food and excellent service from Sharon who went "over and above" to ensure we all had a fantastic experience; only our second visit, we will definitely make it a first port of call when meeting family/friends for a celebratory meal, plus recommend it to others
TheForkUserMy friend and I have eaten here 3 times in the last couple of months, drawn back by the 'buy one get one free main course' offer. Each time the staff have been excellent, friendly, helpful and we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
TheForkUserPleasant pre Christmas get together with friends. Most courteous to request for special seating. Friendly and courteous service and great carvery with the extensive selection of seasonal and festive vegetables
TheForkUserVery friendly people great atmosphere lovely setting great service just where we sat by the back door and windows was a bit chilly with overhead fan
TheForkUserI use Toby quite a lot. Recently I've noticed that we have no sooner finished our meal that the staff are bringing the bill. It has all the feel of a production line. I could understand if the Toby was busy. When I booked on line we were given 2 hours and only used half this time.Stop rushing to move people, take a breath.
TheForkUserThought we’d try a different Toby and not disappointed. Very generous meat portions and help yourself veg. We liked the laybiutveith more space tang done others
TheForkUserWe had the Christmas menu 2 courses but could only manage 1, we were charged the full amount but not offered the 2nd course to take away, we had 4 meals and 4 drinks at a cost of£70. It would have been good if the server had told us we would have to pay for 2 courses
TheForkUserAlways great food, fantastic service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended Set in a beautiful building with a great bar area as well as well maintained gardens that are lovely to sit out in the summer months
TheForkUserservice is great. very nice menu with fresh ingredients. love the place. coffee is fab and the young staff there are just great. everything was very good.
TheForkUserI took my daughter for lunch as a school holiday treat and we had a lovely meal. She loved the salad cart and choice of children’s meals.
TheForkUserOnce we got seated, the 2 men who looked after us and served us were brilliant, we could not fault the service or the food.We are Afternoon Tea fans, and were at the Cafe Royal 2 weeks ago for my Wife's Birthday and did not know what to expect from Savoury Afternoon Tea at Harry Ramsdens in Bournemouth, something different, but it was great, so good we have purchased another voucher.
TheForkUserThe restaurant was Christmassy and the waitress went out of her way to be helpful particularly as I have a food allergy. The ambience was lovely and the food really nice. All in all a lovely lunch!
TheForkUserWe loved our afternoon . The restaurant was extremely busy largely with people having Cream tea for two at 1pm!! We ordered from the menu and had a delicious light lunch which included a main and a dessert . Service was very friendly and helpful but incredibly slow presumably because of staff shortages on a bank holiday .we will definitely come again. It is a very pleasant light and airy restaurant with a great view of the golf course and countryside .
TheForkUserWe visited this restaurant to celebrate our diamond, 60 years, wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. They sat us by the window and even made our serviettes into roses. We were treated really well and special.
TheForkUserI haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!
