6 years ago we found this restaurant by accident when we arrived and the region and we were looking for someplace to eat. Back then we were amazed at the quality of the food.Today we have returned and we were very pleased to discover that the venue maintained their quality of the food and service.

The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgable in helping us select our steaks and wine, and he was also very passionate about the food, the quality of the ingredients and the way it would be cooked. The food was absolutely delicious, the wine was excellent and the service was top-level. I also absolutely love the high &#39;wine bible&#39; book that came out with their wine list handwritten in, split in to sections by regions in Italy. We had red wine (Salcheto Nobile di Montepulciano) the steak reale, wild black &#39;trumpet&#39; mushrooms with scambled eggs, duck prosciutto, roast potatoes... and our son had the most delicious bowl of &#39;pasta semplice&#39;. All in all a 10 out of 10 and I would highly recommend you visit.

We expected to eat in the taverna but we had lunch in a room in a different location. Food is always good, mut the location way not the best
