TheForkUserLe Boa is an intimate and welcoming bistrot. The night I went was lively but quiet, which is somewhat rare in the neighborhood. The food was inventive and quite delicious. I had Thai shrimp raviolis, which were beautifully flavored along with a bourguignon and a side of gratin macaroni. All delicious and a good price!

TheForkUserThis was our fourth visit to La Mascotte in three trips to Paris, which tells you how much we love it. Each and every dish on this visit was really exceptional, from the vast oyster platter (with whelks and cockles and clams, too) to the fish soup to smoked haddock atop lentils with a soft-cooked egg. All simply wonderful, and we were given superb treatment by server Nasir. It's worth a trip to Montmartre to dine at this charming spot.

TheForkUserI'm unsure if the middle aged gentleman was the proprietor, but he was very nice and courteous. Although the young lady who was our server didn't speak much English (and sadly my French is non-existent), she was very pleasant, helpful, and child understand is quite well. The food and wine were all excellent: I started with the escargot which had the traditional prep with the addition of pesto and grated fresh ginger...it was fantastic! My wife and I both had the St. Jacque scallops which was also delicious. We finished our dinners by sharing the apple tart and toffee ice cream... all very good! We really enjoyed this establishment and highly recommend it!

TheForkUserLove this restaurant. Missed it so much during Covid confinement. Crazy about the rum punchs, particularly the punch tamarind. Always choose the green papaya and mango salad and then proceed from there. The staff is always so earnest, professional and upbeat. One of our neighborhood cantines. Ate outside for the first time and street noise is a bit distracting. Love the interior of the restaurant. Will stay commited to an inside table. Sleek and intimate all at the same time.

Everything was delicious, escargot was a flavor explosion, foie gras was well presented (I didn’t really like, but that’s a personal opinion), and the tarte was delicious. The waiters are trés gentilles and the location of the restaurant is excellent!

TheForkUserThe food was all very good The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. Daniel was attentive and prompt. We had a bit of an early dinner so it wasn't very busy. We sat inside but they also have a heated enclosed outdoor seating area. Will definitely eat here next again.
