Despite being on a busy tourist street and offering the standard bistro dishes from a laminated menu, we keep returning for our favorite confit de canard in all of Paris , served with a side of extraordinary potatoes that are best likened to potato chips on steroids dusted with a mere suggestion of garlic and parsley. The escargot is a definitive rendition of the classic preparation and the beef carpaccio is excellent. We spend three months a year in Paris, doing some serious eating and for our taste, the integrity and authenticity of this place is hard to beat. Family owned and operated with delightful gracious service, extremely well priced offerings and a no frills but delicious wine list, we wish we had found it sooner.
