TheForkUserThe gratins are amazing, the staff, especially Pier, are great and so friendly. A small little local restaurant that you hope to discover that doesn’t look special but you find out it is once you step inside. Places like this make your trips even more special. However, make a reservation!
TheForkUserService was great. i could practice a bit my japanese with them. The products were high quality (real japanese rice and delicious うなぎ). also i appreciated the large choice of japanese saké and the fact they respect at which température to drink them case by case. some were to be cold, other chamber and other hot.
TheForkUserGreat atmosphere and some excellent little dishes. Super friendly staff and quick service. The artichoke and goats cheese lasagne is definitely worth a try!
TheForkUserAs always the food, service and ambiance was excellent. Every dish was delicious—our favorites include the xiao long bao dumplings, aubergine rolls (aubergine laqué) with crispy rice and pork floss , the steamed scallops with black bean and chilies on vermicelli, the braised oxtail… we love the Peking duck but skipped it in order to have space to try other dishes!
TheForkUserVery nice and accommodating staff, food was great. A great french experience in the heart of Montmartre. I really recommend the duck confit!
TheForkUserThe pizza was great and the owner/waiter (?) happily ok’d my request to leave off one item from the toppings. And while I know I myself am a tourist, it was nice that this was a neighborhood place, far from tourists, and that everyone there was speaking French. Except the French owner/waiter who spoke perfect English.
TheForkUserAbsolutely nice experience at Promesse, staff was friendly, food was great, if you were hesitant, this is your sign to go to Promesa!
TheForkUserWe had our NYE’s dinner at La Gazette an it was amazing! We had a pre-fixed menu and everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. We couldn’t have better service, unfortunately I don’t remember the name of our server but everybody was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. I would definitely go back in n my next trip to Paris.
TheForkUserThis place was on my radar after my advance due diligence for our recent trip to Paris. Unique is a tiny place and can seem a little cramped. It can also seem a bit busy and somewhat noisy place. But don't let those points loom too large.....it does have a nice vibe and ambiance. We enjoyed the escargot (served hot!) and things like the southwest duck and a veggie pasta dish. Overall, this place did not disappoint!! The hustling and busy staff will work hard here to please you. My first impression was perhaps all the confirmation I needed because earlier in the day we confirmed the track from our hotel to the restaurant and I met the most friendly, charming and cute French girl tidying up the place for the day's opening. She confirmed our reservation and helped me navigate to their website to preview the menu.
TheForkUserWe had the lunch menu for my 2 girls and I, and it was a lovely meal and service - the best gazpacho I’ve had and a beautiful flaky, buttery fish. Just off the beaten path, and delicious. I highly recommend. Merci!
TheForkUserThis restaurant it was great. I went with my mom and it was her first time in Paris and the service was outstanding!!! Location is a must and prices are very good too. We will go back someday thank you for the service .
TheForkUserFabrice, our waiter, was FANTASTIC! The food, champagne and buzz of the restaurant were all I hoped it would be - a recruiter from Colorado! It was a dream to eat there. My wife and kids also enjoyed it a lot.
TheForkUserEvery time we come to Paris we make sure to visit this place at least once. We have visited this place many times always very satisfied with the food and service. Also very convenient if you drive, as you always find a parking spot nearby.
TheForkUserWe thought that we would be stressed for our food, only having an 75 minutes to eat, but our group of 7 managed to have 2-3 crepes each. Food was served really fast and it was delicious. Perfect place for a family with lots of gluten intolerant people since the sarrasin crepes could be eaten both for the main meal and for desert. Atmosphere of the restaurant was also top-notch. Very cozy
TheForkUserAmazing food and incredible service. I would highly recommend and look forward to coming here again!
TheForkUserThe food was excellent, the service great. I only gave 4 stars for the ambiance because our table was next to the entrance door and each time someone came in or out, we got a rush of cold air. Otherwise a memorable experience.
TheForkUserI love that the restaurant is filled with local French people and I love observing what they order for their lunch. Such a cultural ambience! The food without question is delicious since even the Parisiens themselves choose to eat here.
TheForkUserThe venue is nice. The restaurant is comfortable (nice tables and nice chairs). The food is good and good choice of wine (we had the Montepulciano, very good!). Unfortunately the starter (the aubergine) which was to be a warm starter was served almost cold 😒. The staff could be more professional even though the Italian server was very nice and friendly. Finally, we were supposed to enjoy a 20% discount from The Fork which was not applied.
TheForkUserAlways a pleasure to watch the hard working, friendly and enthusiastic students and the food is excellent and a bargain
TheForkUserI was great. We had a nice spot in the restaurant and the ambience was great. We loved the friendly waiter and de food was delicious!!
TheForkUserFun restaurant with good food and very friendly staff. Many options on the menu to make everyone happy. We felt welcome and comfortable and enjoyed the experience very much.
TheForkUserReally good food with excellent service and our reservation asked for a window table and they granted it and we had a wonderful afternoon.
TheForkUserWe have been visiting Afaria since 2018. It is our favorite restaurant for duck in Paris. It is amazing. Affordable quality wine list. We can t wait to come back.
TheForkUserIt's a very cosy place with a relaxed atmosphere and good food. It's well situated, too
TheForkUserWe really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was very good (sallad, meat and fish) and we were very satisfied! The staff was lovely and took time to talk with us. This is a very cosy restaurant with excellent food! We can highly recommend it!
TheForkUserThe place was lovely, staff were very kind and generous, food was delicious and very enjoyable had me full???? 10/10!. Would go back again for sure.
TheForkUserThis is an outstanding restaurant. Food quality is superb. Everything is freshly made. We had 5 different pastas and all were among the best we have ever eaten. May be the best Italian food we have ever enjoyed - including in Italy! I highly recommend this restaurant for food quality and service.
