May be the best Italian food we have ever enjoyed - including in Italy! I highly recommend this restaurant for food quality and service.

TheForkUserSuperb, friendly, interesting place. Food was amazing and the host and chef were tremendous. We’ve been to the Basque area many times, so it was wonderful to have this authentic experience with really genuine people in the heart of Paris. It was full of locals so definitely best to book. We will 100% go back next time we are in Paris.

TheForkUserWe made reservations for Le Petit Fakra, but upon arrival were told they had attempted to contact us to let us know they had a private event that night. The owner then drove up, and insisted upon driving us to their other, larger location a few blocks away so we could still dine! The food, service, and atmosphere were all absolutely wonderful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend either restaurant based on quality, value, and top-notch service.

The grilled mackerel starter (which I had in place of a main dish) was almost sweet-sour and had a crispy, chewy skin to contrast the tender fish. It was served with a light slaw-like salad in an acidic dressing to balance the mackerel.
