TheForkUserCalm, beautiful, turn of the last century authentic-for-people bistro. Copious brunch, a little ruff around the edges. Attentive waiter who was simply capable of telling us and understanding us about the intricacies of the elaborate brunch menu in English. Not much choice but a nice brunch for only 23 euros.
TheForkUserFrom an American living in Paris, married to a Frenchman….so not your typical tourist and a rather picky husband. We decided to go into Paris for an impromptu brunch for my birthday, on the drive into town…I found this place on Google with great reviews! Booked a table and it did not disappoint. French flare added to classic American dishes; chicken and waffles and eggs benedict. Delicious! Took a bit of time, but it was a relaxed environment, not very noisy, so a pleasure to wait…and it certainly was worth the wait!Relaxed staff, kids were welcome and a perfect cappuccino. Merci et à bientôt!
TheForkUserNinon is a hidden jem in the 5th, situated in a very charming neighborhood. We took the brunch menu, which was homemade and super delicious! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, that just made our experience really amazing. I would highly recommend.
TheForkUserFabulous food, and really such an enjoyable place to be. Three hours passed without even noticing. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserCannot praise this place highly enough! Everything was delicious and the owner / chef is so charming and friendly, and passionate about what she does. A neighbourhood gem.
TheForkUserAs an Indian, I would say the service and food here are quite great! My entire family of 10 ate at Sangeet and we enjoyed so much. The staff is really kind and even stayed later than closing time because y family was talking and eating for 3 hours. I would 100% recommend.
TheForkUserThis is my fourth time coming here and I’m always bringing new people. The menu was absolutely excellent and the only thing better was the server. I will continue to keep coming back.
TheForkUserWe booked for 16 person and came in short due to illnes and so on. Short before I gave notice that we will only be 12 and it worked perfectly fine. Service and food was ZBT - gorgeous. 10/10 would recommend!
TheForkUserGreat and unique experience. Food was one of a kind and service was excellent. Need to make special mention of the dessert which was amazing
TheForkUserMost memorable visit so far on our trip! Great food, amazing service, and wonderful atmosphere. Appetizers (esp the calamari provencale) and mains (duck confit and steak) were excellent. Don’t miss the cheese plate! We will be back :)
TheForkUserExcellence food great service wonderful wines not enough words to describe all of the components that make a diner a great and even a fabulous diner. Thanks anyways for the quality of your products.
TheForkUserNice place where you see the food being prepared. Nice sophisticated atmosphere. Limited aperitif and wine menu but nice selection, by the glass for most of them. Enjoyable experience.
TheForkUserThis is the second time we were here and it was really great! The service the food and the excellent ambient. I invited a couple of friends and they really loved too.
TheForkUserFood selection covers all tastes. Our dishes were well prepared and beautifully presented. Wine list is thoughtful and covers all tastes, regions and price points. One of our long term favorites in Paris.
TheForkUserThe food and the service were excellent. Of course everything is expensive on new years's eve, but the experience being that good, you tend to forget about that. The people working was also great, thanks for serving us in a date like that one! One thing to comment, we were initially asked to sit in a table that was too close to the other ones. I think that could have been one less table in the room, to give more privacy to the rest. We ended up sitting somewhere else though. Great experience.
TheForkUserWe had a lovely meal at this charming little restaurant. The pizza crust was perfect—like eating freshly baked bread—and my daughter devoured every bite of her pasta. The host was beyond kind and helpful. My autistic daughter was having a rough time after a long day of sightseeing and burst into tears at the table. The host was so patient and solicitous and helped lift my daughter’s spirits. She helped salvage our evening, for which I was so grateful. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Paris.
TheForkUserThis small local restaurant was superb. The unusual fan shaped menu immediately gave us a hint to the creativity of the chefs. The cuisine was unusual, creative, multi layered and just wonderful.
TheForkUserOur experience was fantastic in this lovely restaurant. Delicious food, very friendly and smiling waiters and waitresses, nice music 🎶, reasonable prices... Everything was so pleasant! Will come back again.
TheForkUserMy wife and I couldn't have had a better meal. I feel confident saying that, from a food and service perspective, this was the best 1 star Michelin restaurant either of us have eaten at (among quite a few). Every bite fantastic, elevated and interesting, and the service was extremely attentive. We highly recommend La Faham.
TheForkUserRoom has a glass ceiling by G. Eiffel w/ adjoining copper lined celebrity private room (Bee Gees etc). Set meal is spring-themed French Sicilian fusion. Octopus carpaccio plate to start & it opens the palate wonderfully. Thinly sliced cooked pulpo with citrus confit, pomegranate & pea pod tip with tiny avocado cubes; White fish with crispy skin just right & not greasy with pea puréed sauce, tiny clams & roasted broccoli; Barbecued flank steak topped with au jus (meat sauce) with beets, strawberry & pomegranate for the red sweet contrast & tips of fresh pea plants for greens. Strawberry sweetness hits the front palate then recedes into background. The beet purée then commands the field . Steak a little tough but good flavor. Dried yogurt granules are lightly sweetened, grapefruit is added to the yogurt mousse (ice cream consistency) with sponge cake as a base. You have to assemble it on the side of the dish for flavors to pop out. Vermentino; Viognier; Carignan pairing
TheForkUserThe restaurant was meticulously designed, offering an exceptional dining experience. The culinary offerings were not only delectable but also of the highest quality, showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The staff’s exceptional courtesy and attentiveness further elevated the overall ambiance, ensuring that each guest’s needs were met with utmost care. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience.
