TheForkUserI’ve just met up with four friends I’d not seen for 45 years - and TWE completely ticked every box - from being welcomed, seated, hot plates and good hot fresh food - it didn’t disappoint and there was no pressure to leave our table. I don’t know when I have ever had really good food that met everyone’s tastes and needs. I can truthfully say that on this occasion the staff, attention, food and ambience was outstanding. I’m also conscious that there are a number of staff behind the scenes and in the kitchen who don’t get praise/tips directly from the customers and trust they will hear this review too.The White Swan

TheForkUserThe restaurant has a 'buzz' and people looked happy. This is the second time I've been and the atmosphere has been great both times. There is nothing better than full tables to give you confidence you've chosen the right place to eat. The waiting staff were working very hard. They were all brilliant. They were polite, knowledgeable, very personable but also very professional. We were an eclectic bunch of friends and our tastes varied from fish and chips, through sea bass, vegetable curry to Aubergine Gratin. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We rounded the meal off with deserts - pavlova and fruit crumble - ten out of ten was one comment!
