Had a relaxed lunch at The Beacher Cafe. The watermelon salad was refreshing, and the Club chicken breast sandwich was cooked perfectly. What really made it for me was the fresh coffee—it paired so well with the food. A solid spot for a casual bite.

The spot is super handy for a beach day. We stopped in for a quick bite before heading to the shore. Food came out fast, which was perfect. Made the whole afternoon just flow.

Peameal bacon was thick and flavourful. The home fries really stood out though - not greasy at all and seasoned just right. That's what I'll remember.

The staff here is so friendly, even when the place is packed. They checked in just enough without hovering. It made for a really relaxed dinner.

The breakfast sandwich is exactly what I want from a local spot. Solid diner food.

Their tiramisu is house-made. Good balance of coffee and cream, not too sweet. The cocoa on top was a nice touch. I'd order it again.

Game night was packed but our server kept up. Checked on us a few times, got our drinks refilled quick. Made a busy evening run smooth.

Been coming here for a while now. The sushi is always fresh, and the rolls are huge! My go-to is the spicy tuna roll, it's just the right amount of kick. Portions are generous, you definitely won't leave hungry.

The popcorn shrimp fried rice was the star. Juicy shrimp, crispy bits, perfect with the patty. Could have lingered there for hours chatting. Just a solid, satisfying meal.

Cozy spot, staff were super friendly. We were a walk-in on a busy Friday, and they really made an effort to find us a table. Appreciated that.

Been coming to Hazel's for years, and the freshness of the ingredients always stands out. Bonnie's hash is a go-to for me—you can tell the veggies are just prepped. The potatoes aren't greasy at all. It's that consistent quality that keeps me coming back.

Stopped in for a quick bite. It's a tiny spot, feels like a real izakaya in Japan. A bit cramped, but that's part of the vibe. Had the grilled squid and a beer. Perfect for a casual night.

Came in for trivia night, it was a good time. The seats are comfy, which is a plus when you're staying a while. The staff was friendly and kept the drinks coming without us having to flag them down. Good spot if you like a lively atmosphere.

The pasta sauces have a nice homemade quality. I usually get the Siciliana, and the portion is decent. It's a solid choice for a simple meal.

Been coming here for years. The sushi is always so fresh, you can really taste the quality in the fish. It's just a reliable spot for a good, healthy meal.

The vibe here is just right for breakfast. Cozy and casual, with those big booths that are actually comfortable. You can easily settle in with a book or meet a friend without feeling rushed. The space feels warm and lived-in, not too bright or loud.

Love stopping by for a quick lunch. The staff is super friendly and the place is always spotless. The green goddess bowl is my go-to—so fresh and filling. Perfect for a busy day.

Tried their lunch special for the first time. The portion was huge for the price, I couldn't finish it all. Good spot for a filling meal.

Good Gobi Manchurian and malai kofta. The classic serving utensils are a nice touch.

Fresh baba ganoush and Turkish coffee were both really good. The service was sweet and efficient too.

Grabbed a quick bite before the show. The food was hot and fresh, portions are solid for the price. Their house red by the glass was surprisingly decent with the meal. Service was quick, no complaints.

Love the new look after the renovation! Feels super fresh and cozy. My friends and I grabbed a booth and it was perfect for catching up over some Swiss Chalet and Harvey's. The hallways are nice and wide, so it never felt crowded when we were coming and going.

The calamari here is tender, not rubbery. It's cooked just right, like the kind you'd find along the Mediterranean coast. The texture is spot on.

Been staying nearby for work trips, so I've had their Canadian meat pizza a few times now. It's always solid, exactly what I'm craving after a long day. Never disappoints.

The hash browns here are a total win. Not greasy at all, just crispy and perfect. The rest of the breakfast was solid, no-frills. Exactly what I wanted this morning.

The staff here is fantastic. Kirt and Princess were so friendly, they really made us feel at home. The wine list is solid, had a nice Pinot Noir that went perfectly with the steak. Just a great, relaxed vibe.

The crust on their pizza is spot on - crisp outside, chewy inside. It's a great match for a bold red wine.
