The borscht here is seriously good, probably the best I’ve tried. Shashlik was juicy and that homemade sauce really made it. Portions are big too. Only thing—it got pretty busy around lunch, but the staff kept up fine. 😄

We got there pretty late, almost closing time, and they still let us have the full three-course meal. That was really nice of them. Service was quick and friendly, no rushing us at all. Bill was fair for what we had. Just a solid, easy dinner.

The raw cheesecake was the reason I came back. Dense, creamy, not too sweet, and the crust actually held together. Tried the savory strudel too, decent but the dessert is the star. Place is small and gets busy, but I only care about what’s on the plate. Worth the walk through the quarter.

Burgers were decent but definitely not true American style. Beer came out a bit flat which was a letdown. For the price, portion size felt fair though. Might just grab food next time and skip the drinks.

The vibe is like a sports bar mixed with a mountain lodge — hunting trophies on the walls and all. A bit quirky but adds character. Outdoor seating has shade, which was nice.

The mushroom risotto was really good, and the staff left us alone long enough to enjoy it. Cozy spot, though the tables are a bit close together.

Solid local pub in Nové Město. Beer was good, staff attentive. Fried cheese and potato croquettes hit the spot. Decent spot for a casual evening.

The bacon burger was decent but that weird uncooked English muffin slice threw me off. Onion rings and fried potatoes with beer are the safer pick. Portion size felt fair for what you pay.

Cozy spot on the edge of town, staff were friendly and the food came out fresh. Portions were generous too. Just wish they had a bit more seating, felt a little cramped.

The rib eye with truffle sauce was spot on, medium-rare just right. Price was fair for what you get. Solid pick if you're nearby.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a table outside. Portions are seriously generous—I could barely finish my plate. The veggie flautas were the move, crispy and packed. Nice touch that you can pick your spice level; I went medium and it had a good kick without overwhelming the beer I ordered alongside. Service was a bit slow but the vibe kept it chill.

Stopped by for lunch while wandering around Jihlava center. Got the beef with dill sauce from the daily menu — pretty solid, classic Czech comfort food. Portion was decent for the price. Service was quick, no complaints there. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for years, still my go-to when I'm in the old town. The pralines are the reason I keep showing up - homemade, not too sweet, perfect with coffee. Place gets busy but that's fine. Sat by the window last time, watched people on the square. Just wish they'd open a bit later on weekends.

Went back the next night just for the drinks. That pretty much says everything. Service was quick too, even when it got busy. Nice to find a spot that doesn't make you wait forever for a refill.

Great coffee and the place feels super chill. My partner got the carrot cake and it was really good. They even put a cute ribbon on the glass for him. Nice spot to hang out with friends.

The burger here is decent — pretty good quality meat, cooked properly. I’ve had worse in Prague, that’s for sure. Place was a bit busy when I came, but the food came out fine. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Probably the best burger I’ve had around here in a while.

The patio really opens the place up, feels like you're not even in the city center anymore. Nice separation from the street noise. Food came out fast, which I appreciated. Just a solid spot overall, nothing fancy but does what it should.

Been coming here for a while now, and the lunch service is still on point. Even when it’s packed, they don’t mess around—food comes out fast and hot. I usually grab the same thing, and it’s been consistent every time. That’s honestly why I keep going back. No surprises, just solid.

The goulash was proper. Thick, rich, real Czech style. I’ve had worse in places that charge more. Card payment works fine, which is handy. Place was busy but I got a seat quick. Not gonna say it’s the best in town, but it’s solid. I’d come back if I’m in the area.

The veal schnitzel with mushroom sauce was really good, and the porridge surprised me—fresh ingredients, nicely balanced. Service was quick too. Terrace probably nice in summer, though we sat inside.

The lunch menu is a solid deal and the service was quick. Parking right nearby made it easy. Good spot for a quick midday bite.

The ribs were the highlight, honestly. Big portion, and the fried fish nuggets were a solid second. I was a bit worried about the price when I saw the menu, but the amount of food you get makes it fair. Staff were friendly enough, no complaints there. Just wish I had room for dessert.

The beef was properly tender, though some potatoes came out a bit dry. Good thing they have Fenek on tap — that saved it for me. 🍺

Came here for a drink and ended up staying way longer than planned. The garden is lovely in the evening, perfect for a relaxed chat. Cocktails were solid, nothing crazy but well made. Service was friendly, kept checking in but not too much. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but the vibe made up for it.

Food was decent and prices fair. Service felt a bit all over the place but the staff stayed friendly. Fine spot for a casual meal in Jihlava.
