TheForkUserGreat food in the back of the fish shop. feels fresh and traditional
TheForkUserWhat a great place to eat. Service was really good and the the food was perfect. We known La Locanda from their pop-up restaurant over the summer period near the river/parking area. Will be back!
TheForkUserWe were greeted by friendly staff. The chef himself came to our table and took our orders. The food was extremely good and having two dogs with us was no problem. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
TheForkUserThe quality of the food was sensational!! Wine was excellent also……server/waitress best I’ve come across…..extremely knowledgeable!!
TheForkUserLovely setting, we arrived at 2.30 got a nice table outside. Staff were attentive. I had the seafood gnocchi which was lovely. Pizzas good too.
TheForkUserReally cute place. Good food. Very friendly service. Would recommend if you’re visiting San Gimignano (definitely best to book in advance)
TheForkUserI am a returning customer. I found so good the menu that I decided to return. It's an unformal restaurant with a good variety of dishes at a good prices. Recommended!!
TheForkUserExtremely charming restaurant with an amazing view, sunset and extremely delicious food. Alessio the manager and all the staff were really welcoming.
TheForkUserWe thought this was an excellent choice, I loved everything about this restaurant. The only thing we would suggest to the owners is have some dimmers on the lights inside, they were way too bright! Everything else about this place was absolutely perfect!
TheForkUserA lovely venue with fantastic food and excellent service. A short ride outside of Siena, the restaurant is surrounded by farmland. Wonderful experience.
TheForkUserThe food was great, we had many dishes and the only one that had a slight issue was the pasta all’astice that had small bites from the lobster shell and made it a bit uncomfortable to eat. However, the TASTE was delicious! We tried pizza, pasta and different sea food and everything was delicious! Service was really good! Even if there were many tables, the waitresses did their best to bring everything on time and respond to our requests without any problems. Great job!
TheForkUserthe restaurant is in a stunning location, wine was exceptional and great value, breads and main courses also a very high standard. We love our food as a family and felt that the pastas were the only thing letting the experience down, they looked beautiful but just were not the best flavours, it's personal taste so we would still go again.
TheForkUserAwesome food, very good pizza and seafood. Fair prices (house wine 0,5 ltr. = 5 EUR) and polite and courteous stuff. We were glad to visit you.
TheForkUserVery attentive service. Fantastic meal. The complementary appetizers were a potpourri of amazing tastes. The cuttlefish ink risotto was so rich and full of flavor. One of our best meals in Italy.
TheForkUserReally friendly small local Italian restaurant. Food very good especially the risotto de scoglia and griglia mista. Attentive and efficient service and fair prices. Would visit again and try more of the menu.
TheForkUserOne of the best meals I’ve eaten in Italy so far. The produce was so fresh and to complement it they have a delicious selection of wines. Highlights recommend!
TheForkUserI am a concierge guest host, bringing guests to Siena every week on tours through Tuscany. Il Banderino is consistently good. Although it could be considered as “touristy” as it is on The ZCampo, it is still one of my favorite places in Siena. Some of the best Pici Cacio e Pepe ANYWHERE. During tonight’s meal, a HUGE storm blew up and forced all of the al fresco diners inside. The team there quickly moved all inside and worked tirelessly to accommodate every guest! Grazie Louie for coming to our rescue!!!
TheForkUserA lovely intimate restaurant in the hills of Tuscany. The service was excellent and so was the food. We also enjoyed views of San Gimignano from the grounds.
TheForkUserGuiseppi and his team gave the 8 of us (including 2 kids) a wonderful service from an excellent menu of fresh, local food. It was a great experience. KC
TheForkUserThis was our second visit to the Saladiers plac and we were equally impressed the second time around. The setting is nice, the food is of high quality presented very nicely and the service staff was very professional, knowledgable and charming.
TheForkUserExcellent food in an authentic unfussy eaterie near the centre. Interesting and clever fresh food. Highly recommended for lunch
TheForkUserThe restaurant is in a hotel, open with the lobby. Very nice staff and amazing food
TheForkUserFood is good and aperitivo is super worth it. Highly recommend!
TheForkUserGreat fish dishes at this restaurant with a very good wine list featuring the best Tuscan wines and friendly, helpful service. Very generous gluten free options too. Highly recommended. We'll go back.
TheForkUserGreat find. Intimate environment with fabulous tasty food. Very reasonably priced and great personal service!
TheForkUserWhat a stunning environment. Nestled in the hills the restaurant offers an authentic Italian setting. Seating outside and inside. The restaurant is decorated in typical Italian style. The food was exceptional and the staff Stefano the owner and his lovely assistant Virginia were so friendly and truly made our experience a memorable one .
TheForkUserGreat food, very attentive service and reasonable prices for the great quality. We had the saute di cozze starter, Their specialty pasta with smoked duck and truffles and grilled octopus and squid. Everything was top notch. We also had the pannacotta with chocolate and mint to finish off nicely. We highly recommend
