TheForkUserThe restaurant couldn't find my booking when I arrived, but were able to seat me anyway. I ordered the 8oz rump steak and it was cooked perfectly. My server was lovely and got everything spot on. I will definitely eat at this Harvester again.

Three more and I get a free main meal! The place was clean, and the salad bar well stocked. Even though it was very busy, the service didn't feel rushed and Elise was attentive but not too much so.

TheForkUserI like to visit and eat at this venue for memorable occasions. I would want to eat here every week but that would spoil the treat factor. Usually only visit for roast dinners on a Sunday and I can confidently declare that they are in my top three of favourite roast dinners I’ve had in 50+ years. I wouldn’t turn down an invite to dine here and look forward to my next treat at Morgans restaurant.

TheForkUserPlenty of parking. Great to find such variety on a pub menu, available online at the Vintage Inns site, along with any allergy details for which you may need to allow. Driving today, so was not able to sample the Doom Bar beer. Pepsi Max and Fruity fizzy drinks, instead. Well chilled. Chose the Crab Cake starter & Moroccan Chicken skewers. Food was perfectly prepared with fantastic taste. Fairly quiet early on a Monday evening, but still a pleasant environment with gentle background music. Not the best weather this evening, but noted the outdoor seating is well furnished and extensive for a hot, sunny day. A couple of steps down to the main restaurant area, but the Inn had noted our booking requirements and had thankfully allocated us a table in the quiet part of the upper area.

TheForkUserArrived early and the restaurant was very busy, but within 5minutes were where taken and showed to our table. we were asked if the area was okay and also if we were allergic to any ingredients, and informed that our waiter was called Nia. About 5minutes Nia arrived and again asked if were were allergic to any ingredients, then asked if we were ready to order, otherwise she would give us more time. She took our order, and delivered our drinks and my starter. The Prawn Cocktail that I had was exactly as I liked it and after eating it, we went and got our roast meals. Overhaul the food and drinks were perfect, the lady who showed us to our table came and checked to see if everything was fine, which it was. Nia, the lady who took our order and brought my Prawn Cocktail plus drinkswas charming and very helpful as was the other lady with short hair who took us to our table. Please convey our thanks to both of them, we have been many times before and always have never been disappointed there.


