The team handled our big group really well, even though we didn’t book ahead. They were so good with the birthday surprise, moving tables and timing the cake just right. Made the whole evening run smoothly.

Lovely spot to stop after a stroll. The view of Douglas Bay from the window seats is really nice, just what you want for a relaxed bite.

The portions were generous, and I really appreciated that they use fresh ingredients. The local beer on tap was a nice touch too.

Always a solid choice. The fish and chips are consistently good, and the ale selection is spot on. Service is friendly without being overbearing. Just wish they'd change the side salad occasionally, it's been the same for ages.

Small plates were well executed, especially the grilled octopus. Flavours were balanced, presentation thoughtful. Service was efficient, plates arrived in a logical sequence. A solid choice for a business lunch.

Decent selection of drinks, had an Okells ale. Good for catching a game. But honestly, the portion sizes for the bar snacks are a bit small for the price you pay.
