Been coming here since 2020. Curries are still solid, portion size is fair for the price. Staff remembers my order, which is nice.

The floating boat sushi presentation was such a fun touch. Fish tasted properly fresh too. Staff spoke English well, which made ordering way easier for me.

The bubble waffle was loaded with toppings and the coffee hit the spot. Service was quick, place looked tidy. Solid spot for a sugar fix.

The food was fresh and tasted authentic, nicely plated too. Just had to wait a while since everything's made to order. Service was friendly enough.

The teppanyaki was properly cooked, nice char on the meat. Staff kept clearing our plates quickly, which I appreciated. Good spot for a casual dinner.

The terrace view of Plassenburg Castle is hard to beat. Schnitzel was properly crispy, and they poured a solid local beer to go with it. Service stayed attentive even when it got busy.

Solid schnitzel from room service. Actually crispy, not soggy. Staff knew what they were doing on the phone. Good shout for a lazy night in.

The green curry here is seriously good, and the fried rice too. It's a simple spot, you order at the counter and it gets busy. Just remember it's cash only, which almost caught me out.

Schnitzel was solid, pork shoulder even better. Pricey for the area, but the old town terrace makes it acceptable.

The soup was the highlight for me — proper Thai flavors, deep and spicy. The room itself is nice too, comfortable chairs, not too loud. I just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price. Still, a solid spot if you're craving something authentic.

The Schäufele was really good — crispy on the outside, tender inside. The spaetzle worked well as a side. Portion was generous, almost too much for me. I just wish they'd offer a few more vegetable options on the menu. Felt a bit heavy by the end, but that's probably my own fault for ordering the classic.

The burger was solid, but honestly the wedges stole the whole show. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside—really well done. Nice spot in Gostenhof, easy to get to. Menu has enough variety too. Would come back just for those wedges, no question.

Döner box was huge for the price, easily enough for two meals. Just cash only, no card. Solid quick bite if you're in the area.

Solid spot for a casual meal. The schnitzel was decent, and honestly, the beer prices are what keep me coming back. Sat on the patio, which is nice when it's not too hot. Found a decent German pilsner to pair with my food, which was a plus. Service was a bit slow, but it's the kind of place where you're not in a hurry anyway.

Came for a coffee and somehow stayed much longer than I meant to. The terrace is just nice for sitting and watching people go by. Cappuccino was okay, nothing special, but the whole vibe is so relaxed. I liked that I didn't feel rushed at all. Comfortable seats too, which always matters to me.

Came for the Sunday Schäufele and honestly, it hit the spot. Meat was tender, fell right off the bone. Sides were plenty, almost too much for me. Place has that cozy, warm vibe inside. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. Would go back if I'm ever craving proper Franconian food again.

Great cocktails and solid pizza in that old historic building. Bartender clearly knows what he's doing. Drinks were strong and fairly priced for the area.

Solid pasta. Wine list was decent too. Service friendly, nothing crazy. Prices fair for what you get. Came for a quick dinner, left satisfied. Not a mind-blowing place, but reliable. Would go again if I'm in the area.

The five-course Valentine's menu was solid, dry-aged duck breast was the highlight. Hostess kept things moving fast.

Good gluten-free options. Staff knew exactly what was safe and the allergen menu was clear. Felt fine eating here, no worries afterwards.

Stopped by for a beer after a long walk along the river. Nice spot, plenty of outdoor seating right by the water. Food was just alright—nothing special, but the drink list is solid. Prices are fair for the location, though. I'd come back for a drink, maybe not for a full meal.

The in-house Kellerbier is really good—probably my favorite beer in Bamberg so far. Sat in the beer garden with a nice view over the town. Service was friendly too.

Nice shady spot under the trees, felt like a proper beer garden. Cold drinks hit the spot. Just wish they had a few more snack options.
