Decent spot in Herzo. Food was pretty good, though service took a while. Easy to get to by public transport, which helps.

The owner came by our table for a quick chat even though the place was completely packed. That personal touch stood out to me. Service stayed warm and attentive the whole time, which is not always easy when it's that busy. I wasn't expecting much interaction given the crowd, but they managed it well.

The hotel’s old-school charm is the main reason to book it. Our room had its own quirky style, and the restaurant’s local wine list was a nice touch. Service was spot on too. Just wish the room had more outlets. 😅

The breakfast buffet here is solid for the price. Had the "Buenos Dias por dos" with a friend—23 euros and honestly plenty for two people. Eggs, fresh bread, decent coffee. Place itself is pretty cozy, nothing fancy but comfortable enough to sit and take your time. Maybe not the most exciting spread, but it does the job without breaking the bank.

Quick stop for lunch. Staff packed everything up fast when we had to leave in a hurry. Food was solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Place gets busy around noon, so expect a bit of a wait if you're not early. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

The pizza’s solid—thin crust, fresh toppings. No frills, just good quality. Italian salad’s a decent side too. Portion size felt fair for the price.

Stopped by for a beer after work. They've got a solid list, local stuff and some imports too. Had the roast beef, pretty decent for pub food. Lamb shank looked good on the next table. Place was a bit quiet but fine for a Tuesday. Nothing fancy, just a proper beer stop.

We came with the kids and they loved the little play corner. Food was solid, nothing fancy but well done. Staff left us alone long enough to enjoy the meal, which I appreciate. Place has that relaxed vibe where you don't feel rushed. Maybe not the most exciting menu, but for a family outing it works fine.

Solid traditional German food. Got the schnitzel, it was good. Place has a nice countryside feel. Service got a bit slow after the lunch rush, but the food made up for it.

Nice spot tucked in the greenery. Got busy around noon, waited a bit for a table. Prices are slightly steep but the food was solid.

The jalfrezi had a proper kick, and the sugar lassi balanced it out nicely. Service was friendly, nothing fancy, but the spices felt fresh.

The menu changes often, which I really like. Got a fresh salad with seasonal veggies—simple but tasty. Prices felt fair for the quality. One of the better spots in Bamberg.

The pizza here is solid, that crust really does it for me. Staff’s always friendly too. Place is tiny though, so you’ll probably wait unless you book ahead.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the schnitzel, it was decent. Place was busy but they got me in and out fast. Price was fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, but if you need a solid bite without the wait, this works.

Been coming here for a while now, and the lamb shank keeps me coming back. Portions are generous, no question. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The tarama was good too, nice and creamy. Place gets busy, so service can be a bit slow sometimes, but the food's consistent. That's why I keep it in rotation.

We came for a quick dinner and left completely full. The grilled fish was really good, calamari too. Portions are big for the price, which I appreciate. Staff was friendly, didn't rush us at all. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that's fine. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.
