TheForkUserWe found this restaurant online, walked by and made a reservation for that evening, and ended up having a fabulous time! Our server Aldo was delightful. He helped us navigate the menu, graciously accommodated a few special requests, and made our experience truly enjoyable. Oh, and the food—it was delicious! We had the caprese salad, gnocchi, osso bucco, two different cuts of beef—one with red wine gravy and one with green peppercorn and cheese sauce. Aldo recommended a good wine, we then had chocolate cake, espresso martini, and complimentary Amore liqueur. Whew! It was all so very good. We are going back again tonight to try some other dishes, but Aldo will be our server again 😘. The other staff are also delightful so you can’t go wrong at this restaurant. Mangia!

TheForkUserThe food is delicious with a very good range of choices, I had black pork with plums and my partner ate beef rib and roasties. Grilled vegetables were well seasoned and the quality of the meat showed. We were early diners so very little atmosphere to start but other diners quickly appeared to join us. A group of guys, some of them family working hard to make a success. I always think when the owner is on the premises, it is a good sign of confidence in their restaurant.

The tiramisu is also excellent. All in all, a great pizzeria with wood-fired oven; fast and dedicated service. Prices are also very convenient.

TheForkUserIf you’re in Florence and looking for an excellent seafood dish look no further than this restaurant. Order the catch of the day, your favorite wine, and relax. On my day it was baked Turbot on the menu and it was fantastic. The fish was brought out whole and expertly deboned by our great server Islam. He carefully presented it and made sure we were well taken care off during our meal. Thank you Islam for making our last meal of this Florence trip a memorable one!

TheForkUserWe arrived on time at 7.30pm and were led to our table promptly. The waitress explained the specials and Easter menus. We ordered red wine which was very good and well priced. We had eggplant parmigiana as a starter followed by veal cannelloni, osso buco with porcini mushrooms, and side dishes of crispy potatoes and white beans. The food arrived promptly and hot and was very tasty. Portion size just right for us. Puddings followed: tiramisu and warm apple tart. Enjoyed the meal and service. The restaurant was packed when we left at 9.30pm.

TheForkUserVery good quality food. I took a la carte and was served with lovey dishes, well presented and very good quality produce. As I was alone, I did not take a bottle of wine, but asked for a glass to go with each course. I was offered a very good selection of wines, which matched the dishes perfectly. It is not easy to eat well in Firenze, due to the extremely high volume of tourists, but if you want to have a fine dining experience, this is definitely a place to go.

TheForkUserThe steak Florentine was magnificent. Waiter offered 3 excellent wine pairings. The other items: Zucchini flowers, roasted potatoes, spinach ravioli, and lasagna were all also very good. The potatoes were especially good. The lighting and design inside are great for an intimate dinner; the music was a bit too loud. The temp a bit warm; but I would go back without hesitation.
