Popped in on a busy Saturday, wait was surprisingly short. The pizza was solid, but the real star was the house red they suggested. It had just the right body to stand up to the pepperoni. Service kept up well despite the crowd.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Staff were really friendly and efficient. Got my order in and out in no time. Perfect for when you're in a rush downtown.

Joey's friendly service is always a highlight. The brunch was hearty and the atmosphere was just right for a relaxed meal.

Perfect for a lazy lunch with mates. The staff were really friendly and the food hit the spot. What stood out for me was the wine list – found a lovely, affordable bottle that went down a treat with the sharing plates.

Grabbed a pizza and a pint before the Everton match. Honestly, the vibe was so good we came back after! Staff were super friendly, made it perfect for a quick catch-up with mates. The pizzas were spot on.

We’re regulars now. Sophie and the team make you feel part of the place. Even our dog gets a warm welcome. Just a proper local.

Nice quiet spot for a Sunday drink. Bar was spotless, which I always notice. Staff on the door were lovely, really set a relaxed mood. Just what I needed.

Spicy chicken wrap actually had a kick, which is rare. Fresh ingredients, decent portion for the price. Staff were friendly and got my order out fast. Solid lunch spot.

Lovely old picture house pub, really clean and well kept. The beer garden is a lovely spot to sit, makes for a very relaxed afternoon. Staff were friendly and the whole place just feels comfortable.

Lovely spot for a catch-up with the girls. The marble tables and proper linen napkins give it a nice, upmarket vibe. The pasta tasted just like what I had in Rome last summer! A bit on the pricier side, but perfect for a treat.

Been coming here for years. The dough is what keeps me coming back – always that perfect crisp. The Cheesy G garlic pizza with the fresh mozzarella pearls is my go-to. Just a reliably good, quick bite.

The sharing platter for two was a great idea. Loved the four little sides, especially the spiced sweet potato. The desserts were the real star though – that chocolate pot was so good.

The staff were so welcoming with our little ones. Our server even suggested a lovely non-alcoholic spritzer for my wife that paired perfectly with her meal.

The sizzler calzone was the star of the show. It arrives all puffed up and golden, and the mix of spicy sausage and melty cheese inside is just right. A solid pick for a casual bite.

Service was excellent, they really took care of our large group.

The onion bhajis were spot on. Really crispy, with that lovely savoury flavour. Everything on the plate just looked so nice.

The fish was cooked just right, flaky and moist. The steak had a lovely char. Portions are generous, you won't leave hungry. It's the kind of reliable quality that keeps me coming back.

Been here for brekkie a few times. The full English is solid, and they keep the buffet topped up. Good spread for the price. Gets a bit busy at weekends though.

The staff here are always so helpful. Quick to get you seated and check on you during the meal. Makes the whole lunch break run smoothly. That’s probably why the place is always busy.

Samosas were crisp, curry flavourful. The poppadom onions were exceptionally fresh. Service was efficient, got my lunch order out quickly on a busy weekday. Good spot for a reliable meal near the office.

The duck spring rolls were lovely, and the triple cheese and onion pie was just right for a cosy meal. The booths are so comfortable, which really makes a difference when you're settling in. A nice, relaxed spot.

Popped into the Arndale Market for lunch and tried this place. Watching them make the food fresh right there was really cool. Everything tasted super fresh because of it. Got a bit busy at the counter, but the wait wasn't long.

Been here a few times now. The slow-roasted pulled lamb is the one to get, really tender and flavourful. The burgers are decent too, but the lamb is the standout.

Steak and eggs for brunch hit the spot. The steak was cooked just right, seasoned well. It’s a simple dish, but they nailed it. Portion felt a bit on the smaller side for the price, though.

The terrace is a lovely spot. Their wine list had a few nice options by the glass, which was perfect for a light lunch. The sound of chairs on the wooden floor was a bit noticeable, though.

The steak frites. Cooked just right, medium-rare with a proper sear. The fries are crisp, not soggy, and seasoned well. It's the one thing I order every time.

I hosted my daughters Baby shower here yesterday. The staff, the room, the food, the service was all 5 stars. I was bowled over. Nothing was an issue.
