The food's got flavour, but if you like it hot, ask for extra spice. Their 'medium' or 'spicy' dishes can be milder than you'd think. I had the mapo tofu on a 'spicy' setting and it was more of a gentle warmth.

The curly-haired server was so warm and helpful. She took time to explain the menu and the fresh ingredients, which I really appreciated.

The staff here are so lovely. They're polite and attentive, but never hover or make you feel rushed. It's a really comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

Came with a big group of 18. They handled it well, got all the mains out together. Didn't mind our balloons and cake either. Made it easy.

Popped in for a pint. The beer selection is seriously good – loads of real ales and craft kegs to choose from. The place is much bigger than it looks from the street, and the outside seating was perfect for people-watching. Lively spot.

Decent portions for the price. Had the grilled chicken plate, it was a proper feed. Couldn't finish it all. Good spot if you're hungry.

Emma the manager always makes a point to say hello. Staff are efficient, food is solid for a post-work meal. Good spot near the office.

Walked in for bottomless brunch during their renovations. Staff were so lovely and squeezed us in despite limited seating. Drinks were topped up constantly, really efficient service. Made a potentially tricky visit feel easy.

A decent spot. It's clean and they've got plenty of tables, which is nice. The food arrives hot, which I appreciate. The fish and chips were pretty good, though the chips could have been a bit crispier.

Been coming here for years. Staff always friendly, makes it feel like a local spot. Good for a quick lunch when you're in a rush.

The family-run vibe here is so lovely. The staff are genuinely warm and attentive, which made the whole evening feel really relaxed. Food was colourful and tasty, especially the vibrant veggie plate we tried. A nice spot for a chilled dinner.

Been coming here for years. Their coffee selection is always on point, and they brew it just right every single time. That's what keeps me coming back – you know exactly what you're getting.

Stopped by for a takeaway. The paneer was really good, came out steaming hot. Menu had a few veggie options which was nice.

The veggie pie was really good, nice flaky pastry and the mash was spot on. Apple crumble was a solid follow-up.

Been here a few times. Kae and the team are always on it, remember what you like. Makes a quiet dinner out feel a bit nicer. Service is solid, no fuss.

Good pub food and a nice range of ales. Staff were really helpful squeezing us in when it was packed.

Cozy spot, really clean inside. I liked the little details in the ladies' room, like the nice hand soap and fresh flowers. The whole place just feels fresh and looked after.

Reliable spot for classic fish & chips. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Portion was decent for the price. Chips could have been crispier, but overall a solid choice for a quick meal.

The bottomless brunch is solid value. Cocktails were the real star for me – the spicy margarita had a great kick and paired nicely with the eggs benedict. Service kept the drinks topped up without us having to ask.

This place has such a warm, cozy feel. The lighting is soft, and the wooden tables are spaced nicely so it doesn’t feel cramped. It’s the kind of spot you can just settle into for a relaxed meal.

Great choice of beers and lagers here. The staff were really friendly, which made for a relaxed evening. My only small note is that the service was a bit slow when it got busy, but it didn't spoil the visit.

Stopped in for a Sunday lunch post-renovation. The new decor is clean but feels a bit sterile, lacks the old warmth. Service was the main issue – had to wave down staff twice, once to order and again for cutlery. Food itself was fine, but the wait detracted.

Been here a few times for business lunches. Food is reliably good, flavours are solid. The grilled sea bass last week was spot on. Service can be a bit slow when they're busy, but it's a convenient location for meetings.

Been coming here for years. Their coffee selection is really something else, beans from everywhere. I usually grab a bag of the Ethiopian ground to go. It's a bit pricier than the supermarket, but you can taste the difference.

Been coming here for years, always get the Friday fish and chips. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back - same generous portion, same crispy batter. A solid spot you can rely on.

Wheelchair access was great, and they handled our toddler without a fuss. Food was solid, good ingredients. A bit pricey for a quick lunch, but you get what you pay for. Got us in and out fast.

Stopped in on a road trip. The salt and pepper ribs were spot on—crispy and full of flavour. The real winner was their house red, a robust Shiraz that cut through the richness perfectly. Service was attentive without being fussy. A very pleasant surprise indeed.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always so friendly. It's nice to see a place that stays consistent.
