Unfortunately there is a train line nearby but in the evening trains don't run too often. Anyway five stars from me (out of five). I've been there on holiday but if I return in the area for sure I'll pop by.

TheForkUserWe arrived in Meta exhausted after 4 trains from Monopoli. This restaurant was just the restorative experience we needed! The setting is to die for and the service very welcoming. Picking out our own fish from the catch of the day made it clear they were fresh: red snapper (dentice), spigola (branzino), or sea bream (orata). We went with the snapper, grilled. Great choice - served perfectly fileted with grilled eggplant and zucchini and a mixed salad. Coupled with a coda di volpe crisp white wine, we were delighted. A family run place by 2 brothers - one is the chef.

We were delighted that it was still as delicious. Michael and his team do a great job at making everyone feel welcome. The service and food are both exceptional. The ravioli caprese and the sea bass are exceptional. And don't miss the lemon delight for dessert.
