Marian our lovely waiter was wonderful and engaging.Food was very fresh, tasty and amazing, if you are a fish lover Mr Lee recommends the Seafood spaghetti which included razor clams (never had those in this dish before).Portions were typical large Italian style so we didn’t have enough food for 2nd mains.Lovely location to on the seafront, we didn’t want to go, could have sat there all day watching the world go by….

TheForkUserWe arrived in Meta exhausted after 4 trains from Monopoli. This restaurant was just the restorative experience we needed! The setting is to die for and the service very welcoming. Picking out our own fish from the catch of the day made it clear they were fresh: red snapper (dentice), spigola (branzino), or sea bream (orata). We went with the snapper, grilled. Great choice - served perfectly fileted with grilled eggplant and zucchini and a mixed salad. Coupled with a coda di volpe crisp white wine, we were delighted. A family run place by 2 brothers - one is the chef.

TheForkUserSuch a wonderful restaurant! We had dined at Vela Bianca several times the last time we were in Sorrento a few years ago so naturally we returned on our recent visit. We were delighted that it was still as delicious. Michael and his team do a great job at making everyone feel welcome. The service and food are both exceptional. The ravioli caprese and the sea bass are exceptional. And don't miss the lemon delight for dessert.

TheForkUserOur group of 5 adults came here on the recommendation of our Tour Guide, Simona earlier that day. She's a local and lives nearby so we took her recommendation to heart and decided to try it. It was the best meal we had while in Italy. Everything from the seafood to the pasta dishes was so delicious but more importantly, it was very fresh. we were seated at tables next to the small beach outside. You do have to make you're way down the hill but it's wroth it. There is an elevator that can you you up and down into that area. Th restaurant ordered us a Taxi because we has a couple older people who did not want to walk back up but they were fine walking down.
