TheForkUserRecommended by the Michelin guide but it was an awful experience and a disservice to their brand. We ordered four chef menus and ended up sending back all the mains and leaving before dessert. The fish was not fresh and inedible….the smell of old fish was unbearable. The ingredients may be local but the cooking skill and quality is very low. Avoid

What made the visit so good was how friendly the staff were and how relaxed and unhurried the atmosphere was. We were a group of 6 and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Difficulties with English, even though we spoke English they kept addressing us in Dutch with no hint to compromise.Staff not organised and gave the impression they didn't speak with one another. When we arrived at dessert different waiters offered different options but in the end they decided for us.

TheForkUserThe food was really good, I haven't eaten this good in the Netherlands for a while. We were all very satisfied and amazed by the quality of what we were eating. The wine also was very good. The staff is very nice. I gave 4 stars just because the place was very noisy and not very private, the atmosphere isn't of a french restaurant but of a dutch bar, but all things considered it was worth it for the food we ate. I maybe advise to go during the weekdays and not on a Saturday night like we did.
