We opted for the 5-course vegetarian menu and found that several courses had quite similar flavor profiles. Each dish, however, was beautifully presented and well-explained by the staff, which we appreciated.One minor detail was that red wine glasses were used to serve white wine, and we noticed the same glassware being used for red wine at the neighboring table.We visited for lunch and enjoyed the lovely sunshine and serene waterfront view, though as the day progressed, the sunlight became quite bright at our table.A lovely touch was the complimentary bottle of champagne as a birthday gift—thank you for this thoughtful gesture and for creating such a memorable experience for us.de dolle joncker

The nicely decorated dining room is on an upper level above the kitchen. Halibut starters were delicately flavoured and nicely presented, while the steak was properly cooked, with plenty of red.
