TheForkUserThe food was delicious and nicely presented. Of course, fantastic wine choices. The restaurant was elegant but comfortable. We also had a small dog and the staff and guests still made us feel welcomed. We would definitely go back!
TheForkUserThe food was amazing. Awesome restaurant in the middle of nowhere but 5 star food and service! The fois gras ravioli was the best thing I have EVER eaten! So good. Seriously Michelin star worthy!
TheForkUserDelish meal. The special 3 course menu option is a great value for the quality of ingredients. The sommelier was very kind and able to recommended a great bottle in our price range. So far this was our best meal in France!
TheForkUserThe boeuf and lapin dishes were excellent, as was the local cheese selection for the desert. Great food without too much pretentious pfaff.
TheForkUserThe place is quite bizarre, an old elegant building just attached to a modern Ibis hotel in a developing area in the perifery of Dijon. The restaurant itself is obviously also used as the breakfast room for the hotel, yet it retains a certain style. The menu is limited, but what we had was excellent and nicely presented.
TheForkUserGreat place for a special occassion or when you want to treat yourself with great food and wines. Le Montrachet does not offer a wine pairing but the Sommelier was very helpful with suggesting wines by the class for the courses. And there is a great selection of wines by the glass.
TheForkUserHighly recommended. Great food, everything is great but what I love is the poach pear which is perfectly done, soft and really balanced in taste.great service too. Really patient to our non French speaking family when ordering.
TheForkUserOur dinner at Le Cheval Noir was one of the most memorable dinners we had in our time in France! From the consistency in quality of the food to the outstanding service and advice regarding wine paring, we could not have asked for more. We cannot recommend this establishment any more highly and will certainly return.
TheForkUserAlways elegant and special. You feel amazing just being there and the food is amazing. Kind staff, great chef and great wine list
TheForkUserWhat a wonderful happy accident! We were wandering around the towns on the wine route and stopped in Givry looked at the fork and booked a table for 2. Gregoire is a very welcoming and obviously passionate person who effortlessly shares his passion with all his clients! His restaurant is very cutesy and cosy (it as jam packed) do not be in a rush as it would be a shame… sit back (v comfy chairs) glass of wine (all locally sourced) I recommend the domaine Luole and soak it all up
TheForkUserWe received a warm welcome and quickly received our drinks and the menu. Good choice of starter, main course and desserts. Decided to have filet de trout my husband had the veal liver. Both were well presented and delicious. Good choice of wine by the glass. An excellent meal.
TheForkUserQuite and peaceful environment. Great selection of sushi, sashimi, tempura. Great appropriately priced wine list. Reservations not necessarily required but recommended. A five minute walk outside the town arches. Really good. No spirits offered.
TheForkUserFound Grand bleu on a restaurant search and was not disappointed. Delightful, friendly, wonderful meal. There was a little mix up on the reservation but they welcomed us graciously. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserIt was lovely to walk to this charming, simple restaurant, and find excellent food at reasonable "bistro" prices, although Grand Cru wines and Charolais beef available if you want a treat?! We had requested an outside table, but unavailable when we arrived - thankfully the weather was fine and open-air interior was good. Table service was good, although a little more help with understanding the blackboard menu, that was placed some way from the table, would have made it easier to choose. With Covid restrictions, they are doing a good job, and would certainly return.
TheForkUserThis was a last minute booking and we weren’t disappointed. What a good find! The waitress was very welcoming and the menus were . Three of us had the traditional Bresse chicken and 2 salmon. Beautifully cooked and presented. Would recommend and will certainly be going back when we are next in the region.
TheForkUserReasonably priced good restaurant as you would expect of a logi hotel. Location outside Dijon convenient for motorway but otherwise uninspiring.
TheForkUserAmazing lunch. Everything was very good, if I have to find a flaw the desserts were probably not up to the standard of the first courses. If I return to this area one day I will definitely eat at this restaurant again.
TheForkUserVery good food, ambience, the sun in the room for the first of the year was a real plus.
TheForkUserThis was not the first time we dined in Le Cloître. It is a very nice restaurant, inside as well as on the beautiful terras. The food is excellent and nicely served. The personnel is very friendly and has eyes for details. We will come again (as we did in the past!).
TheForkUserSuperb! Every course was more beautifully presented than the one before. And every course tasted better than it looked. Highly recommend.
