Been coming here for a while now and the El Imperio cocktail keeps me coming back. Rum, passion fruit, ginger—still my go-to. Repochetas were solid again this time. Family running the place remembers you, which I appreciate. Service was quick even with a full room. Prices are fair for what you get. Not much to complain about.

The birria tacos were incredible—that consommé had so much depth. Went back after the chef change and it wasn't quite the same, but the vibe is still nice.

Pizza cone was crispy and loaded with toppings, perfect for a quick bite. Only 8 seats but we got ours fast.

The wood-fired crust was spot on—light, charred, and the toppings tasted fresh. Went back twice during my trip, no wait either time. Just wish they had more veggie options.

The chipotle chicken was really good—big portion and the flavors came together nicely. I sat in the garden area, which felt peaceful. Just wish the veggies had been a bit fresher.

Happy hour was solid — two-for-one drinks and apps that didn't break the bank. Shrimp were pretty good, frozen drink did the job since it was hot out. Nothing fancy but fine for a quick stop.

The piña colada was solid—creamy, not too sweet. Strawberry daiquiri was good too. Honestly the view alone makes it worth sitting down for one. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Just watch the bill, they tack on service charge and tax on top of menu prices. Caught me off guard a bit.

The wings were solid and the TVs are everywhere so you can catch whatever game is on. Place had a good buzz to it, not too loud to talk though. I liked the vibe, felt like a regular spot you could just drop into without planning. Maybe not a destination place but fine for a casual night out.

Owner remembered us again. Chicken fingers and fries hit the spot. Beach right there.

Cold brew here was solid and the brownie hit the spot. Prices are fair for what you get. Nice little spot to grab a quick dessert fix.

Came for the whole fried fish. That thing was crispy and juicy at the same time. Waiter Andres took care of us the whole night. Solid service. Place was busy but we never waited long. Good spot if you're in the area.

The meat lovers pizza here is legit. Thin crust, crispy enough to hold the toppings without getting soggy. Plenty of sausage and pepperoni on it, and the price felt fair for what you get. They even gave me a free dipping sauce at the counter when I was leaving. Solid spot if you're in the mood for a proper slice.

The açaí bowl was a hit with my daughter, and the Day Breaker French toast had a flavor I haven’t tried before. Food felt fresh, not heavy. Surf/skate vibe matches the name.

The peanut butter burger at The Palms sounds weird but it actually works. Pretty good flavor, not too heavy. Pool area was decent too—kids had fun while we sat nearby. Service was fine, nothing special but no complaints. One of the better spots in SJDS for a casual meal.

Been coming here for a while now, and the whole fried snapper keeps me hooked. Crispy outside, flaky inside, just right. Beachfront tables are a solid bonus if you time it with sunset. Service was friendly, nothing to complain about. It’s not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
