Arthur&#39;s Suite was perfect for a quick birthday stay. Room was spotless and spacious. Bar food was tasty and fairly priced.

The cocktails are really something special. I&#39;ve tried a few, and they&#39;re definitely among the best I&#39;ve had. The whole place has such a friendly, relaxed vibe, which is just what you want for a casual evening out.

The steak and ale pie was the highlight. The pastry was flaky and buttery, the filling rich with tender beef and a deep, savoury gravy. It&#39;s a proper pub pie.

The old wooden beams and low lighting gave it such a cosy, lived-in feel. Perfect for a quiet chat with a friend over a dram. Felt like stepping back in time for a few hours.

The new chef has really elevated the menu! I enjoyed a hot roast beef sandwich on fresh, home-baked bread, which was excellent value for money.
