This restaurant, located right on the beach promenade, serves very tasty food and has friendly and accommodating staff.

The menu&rsquo;s short but solid. Picked the schnitzel and it was cooked right, crispy outside, juicy inside. Sides were simple but worked. No complaints about the food at all. Portion size was decent too. Didn&rsquo;t care much about the setting, but the plate did the talking.

Stopped by for coffee and cake. The owner was really friendly, made the whole place feel welcoming. Tried a slice of their cake&mdash;pretty solid. Coffee was just alright though, nothing special. Nice spot if you&#39;re in the area and want a quiet break.

The schnitzel here was solid&mdash;crispy, not greasy, and a decent size for the price. I sat in the back courtyard, which was way quieter than the main street. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place was a bit quiet for a Saturday, but whatever. Solid spot if you&#39;re in the area.

The hazelnut cake was the standout. Dense, nutty, not too sweet. Coffee paired well with it. Price is on the higher side for the portion, but the taste makes up for it. I&#39;d order that cake again.

The lamb with truffle mash was spot on, really tender. Took a while to come out though. Nice view of the Gorch Fock while waiting, so that helped.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the local wheat beer &mdash; really solid choice. The place has that classic Hansa vibe, dark wood, kinda fancy but still relaxed. Food was decent, I had a traditional dish and it hit the spot. Menu&rsquo;s got plenty of options if you&rsquo;re into regional stuff. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but fine for the experience.

Stopped by for a drink while wandering the old town. Place was packed but they still squeezed us in. Staff took their time with us, no rush. Fine spot to just sit and watch people.
