The scones at Millie's afternoon tea were spot on - warm, fluffy, and served with proper clotted cream. The cakes were a bit too sweet for me though.

The food was genuinely tasty, but the two-hour limit on the feast felt a bit rushed for what you pay. Just needed a little more breathing room to really enjoy it all.

The waffles here are the thing. They get the texture just right, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The maple syrup they use is the good stuff, not too sweet. It's a solid choice for something simple.

The sourdough class with Alex was fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and his passion is infectious. The real highlight for me was the wine pairing suggestion he had for the finished loaf – a perfect match. A really engaging way to spend an afternoon.

The mix of indoor and street-side outdoor seating is great. It's a lively spot, perfect for catching up with a few friends. The outdoor tables are a bit close to the foot traffic, but it adds to the buzz.

The pizza dough was the star for me. Light, airy, with a perfect chew. It’s the kind of base that makes you forget about the toppings for a second. The rest was solid, but that crust is what I’ll remember.

Grabbed the chicken bagel (pollo Italiana) on my lunch break. Perfect quick bite, really hit the spot. Coffee was good, space is chill. Staff were nice. Just what I needed.

The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, flaky fish. They've got a good range of ales on hand pumps too. Felt like a proper, no-fuss local.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and helpful, no matter how busy it gets. They remember regulars, which is nice. Makes the place feel local.

Been coming here for years. Their avocado toast is the one I keep coming back for, it's just spot on. The pecan pie is nice too, I sometimes grab a slice to go.

The loyalty card is a decent touch for regulars. I popped in for a quick bite and a glass of wine, and the staff mentioned the rewards after a few visits. It's a nice little perk, though the wine list could be a bit more adventurous.

The lighting's brighter, feels more open. But the main thing is the food. Had the lamb shank, the meat just fell off the bone. Rich, deep flavour in the sauce. That's what I come for.

The service was pretty good. They handled a special request for us without any fuss, which was nice. It made for a pleasant evening out.

A tiny spot in Richmond, only six seats. Got lucky and had the place to myself. The chefs were chill, explained the menu. Watching them make the sushi right there was cool. Fish was really good.

The Bloody Marys are spot on, really well balanced. Cocktails in general are solid, and the wine list has some good choices. It's a lively spot, perfect for a night out with the girls. Atmosphere is buzzing.

Umit and Atan were so lovely, really made us feel at home. They remembered we liked extra napkins without us asking! Just a nice, attentive touch that stood out.

The large breakfast is such good value. I really appreciated that everything arrived piping hot. The eggs had lovely runny yolks, and the bacon wasn't too fatty, which I look for. The hash browns were perfectly crispy. A solid, fresh start to the day.

Great for groups, and the lively weekend vibe pairs well with a cold beer. A short walk from the station too.

Love their chocolate brownie - fudgy, not too sweet. Cinnamon roll was a bit dry this time, but the glaze saved it. That pastry case always gets me.

Loved the mixed cold starter and baklava. But honestly, the free bread stole the show - best I've ever had! The server was so sweet. Perfect spot for a chill catch-up with friends.

Sarah was our server, and she was just lovely. Cheerful, attentive, got our order spot on with all our little tweaks. The wine list is decent, and she had a good suggestion for a glass to go with my steak. A solid, friendly spot.

Popped in for brunch after the garden centre. The outdoor seating was lovely in the sun. Full English was decent, but the bacon was a bit overdone for my taste. Good coffee though.

A local chippy with proper vegan options! The haddock was lovely, but the chips could've been a bit crispier for my taste. Still, a nice find.

Been here twice now. Staff are always quick to help with the ramp and doors, really makes a difference. One of the easier places to get around in a chair.

Riya was so kind to arrange the porridge for breakfast each morning. I really appreciated how they used fresh oats and seasonal fruits. It was just the wholesome start I needed.

The cocktails are definitely the star. I tried the 'Getting Caught in the Rain' and loved the fresh ginger kick. They make everything right at the bar, which is fun to watch. Solid list of options too.

Popped in for a cake and ended up staying for two. They're just so fresh and light, not overly sweet at all. That lemon drizzle slice was something else. The whole place has such a cosy, welcoming vibe, perfect for a quiet afternoon.

A nice, quiet spot for a relaxed dinner. The private atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a good bottle of wine. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. The wine list had a few interesting local options that paired well with the food.

Came for a Sunday lunch. The space is really nice, bright and airy with big windows. My little one was getting a bit fussy, and a server brought over a balloon for her. It was a sweet gesture that helped a lot.

I've been coming here a fair bit lately. The salads are always fresh and the coffee is reliably good. It's a decent spot for a quick lunch, though it can get a bit busy at peak times.
