The ribs in the set were fantastic. The house red was a surprisingly good match for the smoky flavours.

Been coming here for years, and the chicken tikka curry is always spot on. Comes with rice, naan, and a poppadom. Still only takes about 15 minutes from ordering. That's what keeps me coming back.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of cake this afternoon. It was so chilled, perfect for a break. The staff were really on it, even with the place being packed.

Breakfast was solid - loads of choice and everything cooked properly. The harbour view from the room was a nice touch.

Nice spot for breakfast with a sea view. The food looked good and was cooked right. Bit of a wait for a table, but the view made up for it.

A proper local pub, warm and inviting. The staff were friendly. Menu had a good variety, including daily specials. I appreciated their wine list – a decent selection of reds by the glass that paired well with the steak pie. A solid choice for a relaxed evening.

Birthday lunch spot. The clucker burger was worth the wait, honestly. Staff were so calm when a nearby table got a bit loud, handled it really well.

Stopped by for a quick drink and the staff were so nice. They let me try a sip of their house lager before I ordered a pint. The vibe in here is just really relaxed and friendly.

The renovation's nice, but the main thing is the food. The lamb shank was cooked for hours, just fell apart with a fork. The gravy was rich, not too salty. That's what I come for.

Been coming here for years. The pasta dishes are just like what I had in Rome – simple, hearty, and you get a good plateful for your money. No fuss, just proper food.

The blueberry sponge cake here is just lovely. It's got that perfect, slightly dense crumb and the berries are still juicy. A really nice treat with a coffee. The place itself is spotless, which I always appreciate.

Cosy spot, comfy chairs. I like that you can order breakfast items individually instead of a set plate. Had the eggs and bacon, cooked just right. Mocha was spot on. Decent value for a proper breakfast.

Lovely spot right on the beach. Had a late lunch here on a sunny Saturday, the view is really something. My fish and chips were decent, though the chips were a touch under-seasoned for my taste. Still, hard to beat that location.

The butter chicken here is spot on. The sauce is rich and creamy, with just the right amount of spice that doesn't overpower the chicken. It's exactly what you want from that dish. The biryani is good too, but the chicken is the main event.

Been coming for years, and the raspberry mojito is always spot on. That's why I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, and the set lunch is always a solid choice. Good value, never disappoints.

Friendly staff handled our large order well. The steak with blue cheese sauce was solid, paired with a local lager.

Lovely cozy pub. The live music on Friday was a nice touch. What really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients in their ploughman's lunch. The cheese was sharp and the pickles had a real crunch. A simple, well-made plate.

The 'Ultimate' breakfast is a proper, hearty one. It's a classic fry-up, no nonsense. I liked the big windows in the dining room, lots of natural light.

Got seated super fast, which was a lifesaver as we were on a tight schedule. The food came out piping hot and tasted great. The staff were really sweet about it all. Perfect for a quick catch-up with friends!

Solid pub classics and some more refined options too. The portions are generous, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. I really appreciated how comfortable the seating was - not something you always find. Made for a relaxed meal.

Butter chicken takeaway had a good amount of chicken, really tasty. The naan was excellent too, soft and warm. Solid choice for a quick dinner.

I haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

Service was efficient for our group of 8. The waitress was attentive, kept drinks topped up and handled the separate bills without fuss. Made a busy Friday dinner run smoothly.

Service was really good, they were attentive without being overbearing. Online payment was a breeze, which is always a plus. The food came out fresh and hot.

Really clean and tidy when we popped in, perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

Stumbled upon this cosy spot in Shanklin. The wine list really impressed me - found a lovely local white that paired beautifully with my fish. Staff were friendly, food was tasty. A solid meal.

The fish pie was absolutely packed with flavour, really generous portion too. Just found the mash topping a bit too thick for my liking, but still a solid dish.

Booked for three nights, right on the Shanklin seafront which was ideal. Ate in the restaurant each evening. The portions were really generous for the price, which was a pleasant surprise. My partner and I both had the fish and chips one night – very filling. Good value for a seaside stay.
