The avocado mozzarella salad was a lovely fresh start. Felt like a little Italian escape in the middle of the city.

A pretty good meal. The chowder was rich and the mussels were a real standout. Scallops were cooked nicely, too. Service was attentive, though the place did get a bit loud later on. A solid spot for seafood.

Popped in for a late lunch. The lasagne was clearly homemade, really hit the spot. Place was spotless and quiet, which was nice for a change. Just a solid, simple meal.

Been coming here for years, and the welcome is always spot on. Even on a busy Saturday, they found us a table without a fuss. That’s what keeps me coming back.

The chicken burger's only £3, which is a steal these days. Went for the medium spice, and the chicken was actually juicy, not dry at all. Solid choice for a quick bite.

Came back for the lunch special. The beef stew had a deep, slow-cooked flavour, with carrots that were soft but not mushy. The gravy was rich, maybe a touch salty for some, but it soaked into the mash perfectly. That's what brought me back.

Nice spot by the water. The vibe is really good. Had the grilled fish, looked great on the plate and tasted good too. A bit pricey for what it is, but a solid meal.

Pleasant place to have a afternoon tea. Great staff a d service. Lovely selection of cakes. Truly stuffed after the whole 3 tier. The glass of fizz finished it off nicely.

Rob was a good server, friendly and chatty. He took the nut allergy very seriously which was appreciated. The vegan teriyaki chicken was pretty tasty. A solid meal overall.

Came for the lunch set, £15 for three courses. The portion sizes were generous, especially the main. Couldn't finish my dessert, which is rare for me. Good spot if you're hungry.

The 0.0% Prosecco was a lifesaver for me tonight! Me and the girls were catching up, and it was so nice to have a proper fizzy option that wasn't just juice. Felt like I was part of the toast.

Found this place before my cruise. The steak was clearly from a local butcher, very fresh. Good spot for a straightforward meal near the port. Atmosphere was welcoming, no fuss.

Stopped by for lunch. The fish was super fresh, and the plating was really pretty. Service was quick and polite. Nice spot.

You can watch them batter and fry the fish fresh for each order. It’s not sitting under a heat lamp. That makes all the difference, honestly. The quality is just spot on.

Rakesh knows the menu inside out. He helped me pick something that wasn't too spicy, which was perfect.

Had the bibimbap here last night. The vegetables were so fresh and crisp, and the gochujang had a nice kick without being overpowering. Really appreciated the wholesome ingredients. The staff were lovely too.

Been here a few times, it's reliably decent. The hot drinks are fine, and they had a nice chocolate Easter cake. The big breakfast is very filling, though the eggs were a touch overdone this time.

Decided to make my own breakfast here. Picked the eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Everything was cooked just right, and sitting outside on a sunny morning was a nice bonus. Prices felt fair for the neighbourhood.

Popped in for a quick bite. The sausage, egg, and bacon baguette was stacked high, just the right kind of messy. A solid spot for a proper sandwich when you need it.

The hand-cut chips were the highlight for me. They had a lovely crispy outside and a soft, fluffy centre. You can tell they use fresh potatoes, which is so important. A really good example of a simple dish done well.

Goat curry was rich and tender, a solid intro to African food. Live music was a nice touch, cocktails were decent. Service was a bit slow on a busy Friday night.

The food is cooked fresh, which is nice. It's tasty and well-presented, though the ingredients are fairly standard.

Lovely family-run spot, very unpretentious. The decor is simple but spotless, which I appreciate. Had a really relaxed lunch here, the staff were so friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Just a nice, easy place for a quiet meal.

Popped in for a late lunch. Ajay suggested the lamb curry, said it was a good call. He was right. Really hit the spot. Service was chill, no rush.

The staff here are so nice! It was packed when we went, but they still checked in with us about the wait. Really appreciated that.

Great spot for a family dinner. Food is fresh and portions are generous. Staff were helpful when we needed a small celebration arranged.

Lovely homely feel here, really liked that. The service was spot on. Honestly, some of the best Japanese food in Portsmouth, no fuss about it. Just a good, simple meal.
