TheForkUserL’Ostu provides a perfect of the Piemontese trattoria at its best—efficient staff, lovely ambience among the wine bottles, and masterful food—all at fair prices.
TheForkUserIf you are looking for an excellent fusion restaurant at a reasonable price where food quality, hospitality and originality are over the top, this is the place for you 😉. San Salvario, Turin.
TheForkUserCozy restaurant with great food and choiceof wine. Beautiful tiles!!
TheForkUserFederica was really welcoming and kind. The food was delicious and the wine aswell. Due to her personal attention (she remembered our names), the visit was great. Thank you!
TheForkUserEasily one of the best restaurants in the area. Refined food balancing tradition and innovation, a charming setting, and wonderful staff.
TheForkUserThis restaurant is an absolute must if you’re in Torino. We discovered it on our second night here and had to return. The food is unique and outstanding. The quality of the service and little additional treats is over the top. They have an outstanding wine list and are very helpful in choosing a great wine to match with your food. Do not miss this restaurant when you’re in Torino.
TheForkUserA gem of a restaurant. The chef is amazing, really knows how to get the best out of well sourced ingredients. It was difficult to know what to choose from the menu. The young lady who served us was brilliant too. Friendly and efficient without being over the top. A great experience. Cannot wait to go back
TheForkUserVery positive experience! Quick service and great variety of quality food, would definitely recommend!
TheForkUserGreat restaurant for a traditional Piemondtese meal. The service was great and very friendly (our server spoke English). High quality food at a good price. Would recommend.
TheForkUserIntimate dining experience, modern surroundings which felt like you were dining in someone’s beautifully designed home. We had the 5 course chefs choice tasting menu with paired wines. The food was beautifully presented , simply but well explained and was fabulous. Add in value for money on top of that for. 5 star experience or in the dining world we hope a soon recognised at least one Michelin star worthy. Dishes featured which deserve mention were the spaghetti with mussels and black garlic and a potato and egg soup the description does not give justice to the favour and presentation. All wines were locally sourced except one and all perfectly balanced with meal - 5 glasses for €36 was unbelievable value for the even more unbelievable €60 menu. A very young staff provided faultless service low key but attentive without feeling like they were constantly present. So glad we found this restaurant which sits in a residential area outside of the city centre therefore away from the typical busy city streets and crowds. A memorable evening and exceptional experience.
TheForkUserWe had a wonderfull evening with the best service. Kindness and humor in beatyfull surroundings. The Meat was Well prepared and the Wine was good. I wouldnt hesitate to go there again.
TheForkUserRestaurant Alma latina has great ambience and staff is very supportive. Staff helped us with the menu and also suggested vegetarian fajita outside the menu. The food was also good and service was very fast.
TheForkUserI won't rite too many things, it was a long time I hadn't had such a great food in Piemonte, the food outstanding and the Service immaculate, when I will be back in Italia i will certainly go back. Keep the great Job.
TheForkUserThis restaurant is a true gem! The food they produce is phenomenal, if you don’t try the panna cotta you’re a fool (and I don’t even like it normally). The winelist is endliess, but just let yourself be guided by Gian-Marco… he know his cellar and will find the right sip for you! Hospitality with a BIG H
TheForkUserWhat a hidden gem for those who want great pizzas. The staff were great and they spoke good English which helped us. A busy place where the local families went to eat and other picked up pizzas to take home. Great local wine in a carafe was also a bonus. Well worth a try if you want a taste of Italy the locals see.
TheForkUserOur young lady server was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the portions were truly enormous! We ordered the Imperial Frito Misto, and my wife and I could barely finish half of it.
TheForkUserThis is one of the most amazing places we’ve been to during our honeymoon. The balcony offers spectacular views of the area. As for food, the degustazione option is the way to go. It is not a dinner but a feast with four courses of appetizers, two primi, two secondi, and three dolci. Since all of these come in manageable portions, we never felt stuffed but thoroughly enjoyed each course. The service was also incredible! At the end of the dinner, the chef came to the balcony and received ovations from all the tables. We will make sure to come back to the restaurant next time we are in the area.
TheForkUserGreat traditional Piedmontese experience. Good food at a good price. We had to wait a long time (close to an hour) between the first and second courses.....not sure why as it was pasta and the restaurant wasn't busy. This took the shine off the meal unfortunately.
TheForkUserGreat place for a night with friends! The dessert was not what was in the menu as it was over, but no one informed us until we had it! Waiters should have informed us before it comes to the table! The ambience is excellent… maybe to start the disco from 23:30 onwards….
TheForkUserThis place was full of locals which a vibrant and noisy atmosphere. Unfortunately it was raining so the tables outside were unavailable. Food was in general good but not exceptional. My best plate was the tajarin with ragu di salccicia. Service was outstanding. They are well staffed to handle the load, and they were friendly and professional.
TheForkUserGreat place where to eat Italian cuisine! The fish was really good and well served. We appreciated the service and the owner’s kindness! We’ll come back for sure
TheForkUserGrüezi :)What an outstanding place. This catapulted me back home in no time. Warm and friendly atmosphere, fantastic selection and taste of food. We had a classic fondue and a mix of 6 raclette. Truly phenomenal and I wish more restaurants made you feel so nice, regardless of the food.We were too full to get the chocolate fondue but will definitely be back to give it a try.Thank you so much for loving what you do and giving Torino a taste of our culture. I miss it already!
TheForkUserGreat experience! We were early diners and both food and service were fast and efficient. They made us feel very welcomed and wanted us to be comfortable with the language barrier. Our waiter assured us that if we talk English slowly we will get everything correctly. We were seated in the back room looking over the river. The view is more trees than river but it’s a good room, The food was really really good and the house made biscotti were the best! We had gnocchi and spaghetti vongole for primi. Secondi was mixed grill fish and zucchini breaded fish (beautifully filleted). This is a high recommend from us for Turin.
