The apple fritter was so good—crispy outside, soft inside. The salted maple pecan donut was a nice balance, not too sweet. Coffee was solid. Staff were friendly and quick. It's a good spot for a quiet morning coffee.

The boat noodle soup here is fantastic. The broth is so rich and complex, and they don't skimp on the different meats. It's the closest I've found to the real thing since my trip. The space itself is cozy and unpretentious, which I really liked.

Came for brunch, the Autumn Orchard Salad was crisp and the Edamame Hummus had a nice texture. The wine list was surprisingly thoughtful for a daytime menu, found a lovely Riesling that paired well with both. Portions were a touch small for the price, but everything tasted fresh.

The duck udon was rich and comforting, and the uni sushi was spot-on. The sashimi was so fresh it practically melted. Also tried their hojicha tea, which was a nice, toasty finish. Solid spot.

The seafood linguine was great, but the real star was the cozy, low-lit vibe. Felt relaxed the whole time.

The coffee is really good, strong but smooth. I grabbed a seat on their patio, it was nice just sitting there with my drink. Staff were quick and friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food for the price. The sashimi lunch box is a great deal, and the variety included makes it a satisfying choice. The friendly service adds to the overall positive experience.

Ordered from here again last night. The pad thai is just what I want when I'm craving something simple and reliable. It's always fresh and hits the spot. Prices are really fair, too. My go-to for a no-fuss dinner.

The cheese scone is unreal. So flaky and cheesy, I ended up ordering another one to go. The place was packed, but honestly, worth the wait just for that.

The frozen meat pies from here are my go-to for busy weeknights. Just pop them in the oven. The pastry stays flaky and the filling is always hearty. Makes dinner so much easier.

They’ve rearranged the tables recently—feels more private and cozy now. Had a casual dinner with friends here last week. The space is pretty good for that. A nice spot for a date night, too.

Parking out back is a huge plus. The place is tucked away in an old house, so it can be tricky to spot at first.

Shrimp ramen was really good. The server was so patient when I was a bit lost with the menu. The broth had a nice depth that went well with a crisp lager.

The $11 lunch set in Kitsilano is a good deal. I really appreciate how fresh the ingredients taste.

Been a regular here for decades, they even did our wedding cake. The doughnuts are still the best in town. Our German and Polish students say it reminds them of home, which says a lot.

Chocolate biscuit flavor was so creamy, really hit the spot. But I gotta say, the portion size in that cute cup felt a bit small for the price. Was hoping for a little more.

Cozy spot with modern decor, really liked the vibe for a quiet dinner. The lighting was warm and made the whole place feel inviting. It's a nice change from the usual loud spots.

This place is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is vibrant and the decor is charming. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or a special occasion.

Service was solid. The server took time to explain the flavors, really helped me decide. No rush, just a chill vibe. Made the whole thing easier.

This place has such a cozy, intimate vibe—perfect for a quiet date. The staff was really nice and attentive, but never hovered. We had the braised short rib, which was so tender it just fell apart. A bit on the pricier side, but the whole evening felt relaxed and special.

Came for a casual lunch. The vegetarian lasagna was solid, good layers and the cheese was nicely browned. The chicken pesto pasta was decent, but the pesto could've been a bit more punchy. Friendly service though.

Been here a few times. They've got a whole wall of hot sauces you can buy, which is pretty neat. Staff's always friendly, and the place is usually hopping.

Samosa grilled cheese for breakfast? Had to try it. Spicy kick was nice. Mango lassi was sweet, but that's how it usually is. Solid start to the day.

Panaeng with prawns and scallops for a quick lunch. Good heat level, not too sweet. Drunken noodles were solid too. Got my food in under 10 minutes, which is key for me. A bit pricey for the portion, but hits the spot when you're in a rush.
