Love how light and airy it feels in here. The split-level floor and wooden ceiling give it a really open, welcoming vibe. Just a nice place to sit and unwind.

Came for the weekend live music, stayed for the drinks. The house red was surprisingly decent for the price, really complemented the laid-back vibe. Music was a bit loud for conversation, but that's fine for a casual night.

Great spot for a quick bite with the dog. Staff are friendly, they even have water bowls out. Food came fast, burger was decent. Nice to see a place that welcomes the whole family. 👍

Good pub quiz night, and the food's solid. Had the fish and chips, batter was crisp, chips proper chunky. Staff were really friendly, even sorted a table for our group last minute.

The curry was spot on, and the pizza had a nice crust. But the real standout for me was the space itself – high ceilings, lots of natural light, and those big comfy booths. Just a really pleasant place to sit for a while.

Stayed over the weekend. The room was fine, bathroom spacious. The restaurant's butternut squash soup was the standout - really flavourful and well-seasoned. Burger was decent too. Good spot for a simple meal.

The outdoor area is really nice, spacious and perfect for a relaxed drink. I enjoyed the New Zealand pale ale. The walls are covered in these interesting old pictures, which gave the whole place a cool, lived-in vibe.

A decent spot right by the Taff Trail, very handy for cyclists. The beer garden is nice when the sun's out. Food was pretty good, though my chips were a touch cold. Would pop in again.

The tasting menu was a delight. I really appreciated how fresh and vibrant the ingredients were in each course. The wine pairings suggested were thoughtful, though I would have loved a non-alcoholic pairing option too.

Robyn was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The service felt genuinely friendly and warm, which really added to the evening. A lovely experience.

Been coming here for years, and the beef roast is always spot on. Never greasy, never dry. Just a solid, reliable Sunday lunch by the canal. That's what keeps me coming back.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch at this pub, with great service and some of the best food I've had in Bath in years. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good meal!

Birthday meal, but honestly just here for the pie. The steak and ale pie was the thing. Proper flaky pastry, rich gravy inside. The Butcombe pint was a good match. Clive was fine, but the pie's the point.

The combo easily fed four of us. Food was nice, but the cake had that fridge-chill to it. Their house red was a decent match though.

Seafood linguine was spot on, pasta cooked just right. The wholetail scampi was a nice touch. Staff were really friendly, even turned the music down a bit when we asked. Made for a relaxed evening.

Been here a few times. They do decent mid-week deals, like 40% off mains. Just a tip – ask them to bring your main out hot, not after you've finished your starter. Makes a difference.

Came for the meat platter. It's huge! The lamb and chicken were really tender, and the pitta bread was warm and fluffy. The salad and tzatziki were a nice fresh touch. Honestly, two of us couldn't finish it – could easily feed four. Good value for the money.

Bottomless afternoon tea under the marquee was pretty good. Decent amount of food and they handled dietary requests well.

Really enjoyed the afternoon tea here. The sandwiches and cakes were a nice selection. What stood out was the staff's suggestion for a light, sparkling wine to go with the scones - it worked perfectly. Very friendly service all around.

The steak was cooked just right, which was lovely. I also appreciated the comfortable booths - made for a relaxed, no-fuss meal. Prices are fair for what you get.

Love the vibe here. Their pizzas are a real highlight - the dough is fresh and the toppings taste so vibrant. Caught Jack Calloway and the Midnight Creepers on the first Sunday, which was a nice bonus. A solid spot for a relaxed evening.

Been coming here for years, always drawn back by their loaded fries. The chicken is so fresh and tender, you can really taste the quality. A bit heavy for a regular lunch, but perfect for a treat.

Been coming here for years. They always handle our big office parties so well - had my leaving do here last week. The team kept the drinks coming for our whole group, never missed a beat. That's why we keep booking it.

Been coming here for years. Their burgers are always spot on, and the loaded fries are a proper treat. You definitely get your money's worth with the portion sizes.

The roast here is incredible, honestly the best I've ever had. So tender and flavourful. The whole place just feels so cozy with that log fire going. A proper treat.

Lovely spot by the canal, perfect for a cosy winter evening. I really appreciated the focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients in their specials. The fish was cooked perfectly, tasted so clean. A nice change from heavier pub food.

Quiz night with Mark is a blast! Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. They’re super dog-friendly at breakfast too, which is a nice touch. Got a bit loud later on, but that’s the vibe.

The bottomless brunch portions were generous, and the house rosé was a surprisingly good match for the eggs benedict.
