The mussels here are seriously the best I've had in Agde. So plump and fresh, cooked in this simple white wine broth. Just a perfect, no-fuss lunch by the water.

Victor was super attentive and friendly. Made the whole evening really pleasant.

The €30 set menu is a solid quick lunch option. Seafood platter starter and monkfish main came out fast. Good for a quick bite.

Stopped by for a drink, ended up staying. The beach is so clean and shallow, my friend's toddler loved it. Just a really nice, relaxed spot.

The raw dorade was so fresh, it practically melted. That perfect, clean taste. The nigiri had just the right amount of rice, too. A really lovely, quiet lunch.

The cocktails are fantastic, but what really stood out was how fresh the ingredients tasted. You can tell they use quality stuff.

Bento box was fresh. Gyoza crispy. Udon noodles had good texture. Miso soup actually tasted like something. Solid lunch spot.

This restaurant offers a fantastic selection of mussels with 20 different choices, all made to order. A true delight for seafood lovers!

A lovely, welcoming spot. The owner and server were all smiles and so kind to our dog, offering water and cuddles. We enjoyed a glass of their house red with the steak frites—a simple, honest pairing that just felt right for the relaxed vibe.

The seafood here is incredibly fresh. Had the grilled octopus and it was cooked perfectly, tender with a slight char. The fish of the day was simple but the quality of the ingredient really shone through. That kind of freshness is hard to find.

Small menu for food, which means food is all fresh and cooked on the premises.Wine list good value.. Staff excellent even though restaurant full. Advise booking as very popular..

Just what I needed after getting off the train. Most places were closed, but this spot was open. Quick service, got my food fast. Perfect for a quick bite when you're in a hurry.

The food is pretty good, especially the dumplings. They do use plastic containers for some takeaway items, which feels a bit old-fashioned these days. A switch to more eco-friendly packaging would be nice.

The fries were crispy, shrimp portion was generous. Dessert was a nice finish. Music was a bit loud for conversation, but the staff were friendly. For the price, you get a decent amount of food.

Simple spot, but the pizza's the real deal. Got the goat cheese and honey one. The crust was just right, not too thick, and the combo of salty cheese with the sweet honey drizzle worked for me. No wait either.

The breakfast menu is good. Just a bit confusing that it isn't on the self-service screens.

Solid takeout spot. Pizzas are tasty and ready fast when I call ahead. Staff is friendly too.

The food was so good! We stopped in for a quick bite while exploring and the service was super fast. Perfect for a little break with friends before heading out again. The vibe was just right for a casual catch-up.

Wonderfully charming restaurant with delicious food! My husband and I live in nearby Villeseque and had a friend visiting with craving for Italian. Le Refuge did not disappoint! The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, the proprietor was charming and patient with our fledgling French, and the food - oh the food! It was delicious! Make sure to try the house made limoncello. It is potent and outstanding. My cannelloni was tender, flavorful, with a delicate tomato sauce that did not overpower the dish. My friend’s seafood risotto was creamy with the perfect amount of mussels and my husband’s fagottinis au ragu was perfection. Our only regret was not getting crostinis to start but the proprietor set down some bread with olive tapenade to go with our Prosecco aperitifs. Overall, this restaurant is a gem in the tucked away town of Portel des Corbières and we will be back!
