Simple spot, but the pizza's the real deal. Got the goat cheese and honey one. The crust was just right, not too thick, and the combo of salty cheese with the sweet honey drizzle worked for me. No wait either.

The breakfast menu is good. Just a bit confusing that it isn't on the self-service screens.

Solid takeout spot. Pizzas are tasty and ready fast when I call ahead. Staff is friendly too.

Been coming here for years. The fries and drinks always arrive fast, but then you settle in for that familiar wait for the mains. It's just how it is here. Still, keeps me coming back.

Came for the seafood degustation. The fish was fresh, and the wine selection was pretty good. Service was fine, maybe a touch quick at times. A decent spot for a quiet dinner.

The food was so good! We stopped in for a quick bite while exploring and the service was super fast. Perfect for a little break with friends before heading out again. The vibe was just right for a casual catch-up.

The new owners are lovely. I was really impressed by the grilled meats - you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high quality. The menu is simple, but everything we tried felt thoughtfully prepared. A nice spot for a wholesome meal.

Wonderfully charming restaurant with delicious food! My husband and I live in nearby Villeseque and had a friend visiting with craving for Italian. Le Refuge did not disappoint! The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, the proprietor was charming and patient with our fledgling French, and the food - oh the food! It was delicious! Make sure to try the house made limoncello. It is potent and outstanding. My cannelloni was tender, flavorful, with a delicate tomato sauce that did not overpower the dish. My friend’s seafood risotto was creamy with the perfect amount of mussels and my husband’s fagottinis au ragu was perfection. Our only regret was not getting crostinis to start but the proprietor set down some bread with olive tapenade to go with our Prosecco aperitifs. Overall, this restaurant is a gem in the tucked away town of Portel des Corbières and we will be back!

Been coming here for years. The team is always on it, even when the place is packed. Makes you feel looked after without any fuss.

A family-run place, so the service felt really warm. They were just as nice on the phone when I booked. The pasta was good, but honestly, it was the friendly vibe that made it for me.

Lovely spot tucked away from the beach bustle. The counter service was easy, and they still brought our simple, fresh meal to the table. A very comfortable and relaxed lunch.

Been coming here for years. The owner always remembers my order, which is nice.

Fish was super fresh. Grilled snapper with lemon butter sauce was spot on. A bit pricey but worth it for the quality. Nice spot by the water.

Excellent food, and got the opportunity to try some local white wine, the service was fantastic as was the music! Many thanks Bernard for the food. Roger

Prices are fair for what you get. The pizza dough really stands out, chewy and flavorful. That alone makes it worth stopping by.
