From start to finish, it was a perfect experience that transported me straight to a cozy bistro in Paris.Ambiance & Service: Tucked away in a charming,quiet street, the restaurant has an intimate and warm atmosphere. The decor is classic French with a touch of Shanghai elegance,think crisp white tablecloths, soft lighting, and tasteful art. It’s equally perfect for a romantic date or a special dinner with friends. The service was impeccable; the staff were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and genuinely warm without being intrusive.The Food: This is where La Bourriche truly shines.The menu is a celebration of authentic, traditional French cuisine, executed flawlessly.· Escargots de Bourgogne: We started with the snails, which were fantastic. They arrived piping hot, perfectly tender, and swimming in a glorious garlic and parsley butter that we happily sopped up with their delicious bread.· Duck Foie Gras: Smooth, rich, and served with a sweet fig compote that cut through the richness beautifully. A true delicacy.· Main Course - Duck Confit: This was arguably the best duck confit I’ve had outside of France. The skin was incredibly crispy and golden, while the meat beneath was fall-off-the-bone tender and succulent. It was served with classic sautéed potatoes that were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.· Dessert - Crème Brûlée: The perfect end to the meal. A satisfying crack of the caramelized sugar top revealed a wonderfully creamy and vanilla-infused custard beneath.
