Loved the tatami room overlooking the garden. A very peaceful spot for a quiet dinner. The sake selection was thoughtful, and the staff suggested a nice pairing with our grilled fish. A bit pricey, but the setting was worth it.

I keep coming back for their negi-tama gyudon. The thinly sliced beef is always so fresh and tender, and the egg yolk adds a lovely richness. It feels like a wholesome, balanced meal every time.

Been coming here for years, and the place is always spotless. Even the restrooms are kept clean and bright, which is something I really appreciate. Makes it a reliable spot for a quick meal after work.

Came with friends and we all loved the chicken wings! You can get them with just salt or with sauce. The staff were super nice and showed us how to take the bones out easily. Made sharing way less messy 😄

Got the spinach chicken curry for lunch, medium spice. It had a nice kick, really flavorful. The cheese naan was interesting - the cheese inside was a bit sweet. Staff were super friendly. Solid lunch spot.

The breakfast sandwich was solid - the bun was soft but toasted just right. Iced coffee was decent. What I really liked was the seating by the window, lots of natural light. Felt relaxed just sitting there.

The lunch set is under 1000 yen, which is nice. Got the seafood bowl. It was pretty filling with all the little sides. A solid choice for a quick meal.

The set meals here are quite filling. I always leave satisfied, and the price feels fair. It's a spot I can count on for a solid, no-fuss meal.

The mini 'Himeju' lunch set is a smart choice. You get to try the Shippoku specialty, and the presentation is lovely.

The conger eel tempura bowl was a whole eel from Tsushima. It was good, but honestly, the price tag is pretty steep. You're definitely paying for the quality and that seaside view.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Tonkatsu was crispy, rice and miso soup came fast. Parking is huge, easy in and out. Got me back to work in under 30 minutes.

Been coming here for years. The upstairs cafe is still cash only, just a heads up. I always forget and have to run to the ATM downstairs. The matcha latte is worth it though.

Been coming here for years, and the clean, minimalist vibe is what keeps me coming back. It's just a really comfortable place to focus on the food. The space feels calm and uncluttered, never gets too loud.

No. 2 of Bars in Kumamoto City

The Asian fusion menu is impressive, featuring a delightful 5-course dinner that includes herb marinated salmon and tender beef sirloin, all beautifully presented.

The breakfast buffet at the Nagasaki Marriott was a fantastic way to start the day. With a great selection of both Japanese and Western dishes, I particularly enjoyed the local specialties like Goto udon and the sweet Nagasaki watermelon. Highly recommend!

The Teppanyaki experience at this restaurant was exceptional! The chef prepared everything right in front of us, and the performance added a fun element to the meal. The use of local ingredients really enhanced the flavors, especially the Nagasaki beef, which was incredibly tender.

This sushi restaurant offers an excellent selection of fresh ingredients, especially the bafun uni from Hokkaido, which was incredibly sweet and delicious.
