The dan dan noodles were really good, with a nice sesame broth. Not too spicy. I also liked the fried rice. It's a comfortable place to eat, the booths are spacious and the staff is friendly. A reliable choice for a simple meal.

The 'Cho' hitsumabushi is made with a whole eel, which is a real treat. The portion is generous for lunch, definitely a splurge. I really appreciate knowing the ingredients are fresh and the eel is prepared so simply.

The tomato chicken & corn keema curry was really flavorful. Just the right portion for a solo lunch.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Fish and chips were solid, crispy outside and flaky inside. Drinks menu had a few interesting local beers. A decent spot if you're in the area.

While the restaurant can get crowded, the overall experience is enjoyable. The food is delicious, and the dog-friendly terrace is a great touch for pet owners.
