TheForkUserFantastic food and staff as always. Myself and my partner have dined at the Palm Beach on a number of occasions since 2022 and it never disappoints. There is a wonderful menu of fresh and excellent ingredients, I think I have tried most of the dishes at this stage and all are fabulous. The staff are excellent and lovely characters. Thank you to the Palm Beach team for making our visit so wonderful yet again.
TheForkUserReally like the Pizza here . It was my favorite. A thin, crispy crust with both traditional and some inventive toppings. The staff are very warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!
TheForkUserSpectacular meal! My husband got the steak of the day which came with fries and a salad. He pushed away the salad and ate every last bite of the steak and fries and said it was incredibly delicious. Then reluctantly went to the salad and said ‘wow, even the salad is exceptional!’. It had red beet carpaccio and pomegranate seeds. Looked lovely. He rarely touches salads but finished this one : ) I had the rice with seafood for two which was enough for three. Wow! Just wow! The fresh herbs and light broth with large pieces of crab, shrimp and mussels made it so special. Just don’t wear a white blouse as the broth can splash a bit when cutting into the crab claws. Highly recommend! Would definitely dine there again. Our server, Antonio, was very kind and helpful.
TheForkUserBrilliant little restaurant on the beach front of Armacao de Pera. I loved everything about this place. Quality of food, service was friendly and professional. Prices are great and the experience was top!
TheForkUserAn excellent Portuguese restaurant Went on evening of medieval fair in Silves and booked online as reviews were goodWe were a bit put out by the unappealing old fashioned pictures of menu on walls outside which would have normally stopped us going in if walking by . However everything was very good . Delicious simple tasty Portuguese food , grilled fish , meat , shellfish all very well cooked . Service very helpful and friendly , good wine list .Very reasonable prices
TheForkUserHad booked here for 80th birthday lunch for my mother in law, after a quick search and based on reviews online. What a lovely place. Service was excellent -special mention to lovely Katja! Food was great and very reasonably priced. Lovely wine and puddings. Mother in law was delighted with complimentary pudding and gift after Katja found out it was her birthday. It made her day very special. Highly recommend this place. Unexpected surprise in this location -lots of locals eating -always a good sign. Thanks again for a great meal 😊.
TheForkUserExcellent traditional portuguese restaurant. The goat stew was very tasty. Excellent wines and service. Highly recommend.
TheForkUserI had taken friends to lunch and was embarrassed with the awful service as a resident of the resort
TheForkUserBeautiful restaurant, excellent food and a lovely setting. The hosts were really welcoming and interacted and were really eager to please. They are working hard to establish an alternative choice to Alcantarilha and having tried all the other local establishments would definitely recommend giving it a try. Dean and Gwen Hill.
TheForkUserWe booked through TheFork because we were specifically craving authentic paella—and wow, did this place deliver. Restaurante Villa Velha ended up being one of the best dining experiences of our entire trip. The paella was hands-down the best we’ve ever had. But what really set the experience apart was the chef himself—a warm, passionate Spaniard who took the time to explain every detail behind the dishes. We learned that the pata negra was aged for 3 years, and the razor clams came from a local cove where the salt levels in the water are unusually high—giving them a more intense flavor and delicate size. The Catalan cream and cheesecake were also exceptional—light, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can feel the heart in this place, from the food to the people. If you’re looking for an authentic, memorable meal while in the Algarve—book this place.
TheForkUserWe went for the new year's eve special menu. Often, gourmet food looks better than it tastes, but here every course was delicious. Service was also very friendly
TheForkUserThe staff were so friendly and lovely. We enjoyed the seafood and the vegan options. The view is stunning, and it was a great feeling to park, eat, and spend an afternoon walking on the beach.
TheForkUserWe have been here many times which tells you everything you really need to know. Great food, great value and really attentive staff and service.
TheForkUserExcellent food, after the vegetables last week were too Al dente, we asked for them to be cooked more, they were perfect this week. A superb meal.
TheForkUserOur favourite restaurant in Loule 😍We always have a wonderful time. The staff are extremely friendly, great service and delicious food 😋
TheForkUserThe service was unbelievable. Extra fantastic! The food had so many courses and everything was delicious. We had the WATER.
TheForkUserWe spent our first night in Lagos at Real Portuguese and it did not disappoint! We sat outside. The inside is lovely as well. Very quaint. In Old Town but out of the craziness and touristy areas. A more laid back, upscale experience. The service though a bit slow at times was welcoming and efficient. Food was excellent. I had the octopus and my husband had the filet mignon. Highly recommend!
TheForkUserVery nice experience at La Villa. The food was excellent and wine very affordable. We had foie gras, frogs legs, duck and fish.Top French cusine restaurant.
TheForkUserWe have been 10 times and it’s still one of my favourite places in the Algarve. Great spot. Great food. What’s not to like.
TheForkUserExcellent food. Good ambiance. Friendly staff. We arrive late, advise in advance, and table was available. A place to return
TheForkUserA warm welcome was given on arrival and it was lovely to be able to dine outside. Food was excellent as was the wine. Well worth a visit.
TheForkUserGreat views and food! Repeat dining and not disappointed. We were not asked about water and besides the minor issue, we would definitely go back. Great food and views!
TheForkUserstaff were very attentive and the service was very quick. The steak was cooked to perfection, the salad and rustic fries were the perfect accompaniment.
TheForkUserThis is our second visit to Frank’s so it must be good or we wouldn’t have gone back. Hidden gem we definitely recommend : great food and lovely friendly staff. We’ll be back again soon.
TheForkUserI went for dinner on Valentine’s Day - set menu. Every course was delicious / great service / lovely modern decor with great ambiance / views. Will be back for sure 👍
TheForkUserThis restaurant is tucked away from the main tourist areas, but worth seeking out for a seafood meal at a good price. I had the octopus, which was cooked just right, not at all tough, my partner had the sea bass fillets which was also very tasty. The house wine was really good for the money too. It's a pity that it was quiet when we went (Friday evening), maybe it's busier earlier in the day as it is also a pastilaria bakery and does breakfasts.
TheForkUserOne of the best restaurants in the Algarve. Fantastic food , good service and best value for money!I will always comeback.
TheForkUserThe food was really good, in particular the fried shrimp, cooked to perfection! we had the thai and indian curry. Service was great too
TheForkUserSuperb welcome , lovely staff and warm welcome . I formative about wines and food .Chef cooked lively food and atmosphere was lovely . Thanks all
