TheForkUserWe visited here during off season so we were the only people in the restaurant! I booked ahead and told them it was my daughters 20th birthday. We arrived early, which was no problem. We were taken upstairs to a spacious restaurant area. We were given delicious bread & breadsticks. We chose Capprscioaco pizza & beefsteak. Both were delicious . Then the owner brought over a slate of different sweets with a birthday candle and sang happy birthday to my daughter ????. The sweets were amazing and he explained they were typical Sicilian. We had to take some home with us as we were full! What a wonderful experience of dining. I would definitely recommend ????????

TheForkUserA truly superb evening. The food was exceptional, the sauces creative (and I wanted the recipes). What made it for us was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. It’s not hard to praise the wine because I don't think there is a bad Italian wine but the sommelier took us on a journey of local wines that went beyond exceptional. I have already passed the restaurant details onto two friends and will definitely return to try the other dishes I couldn’t this time. I am surprised this doesn’t have a Michelin star.

The best of ingredients providing an exquisite short but high quality menu and extensive wine list. Definitely book in advance, but do try it out, the ambience is worth the visit alone.
