TheForkUserNice place obviously specialising in meat dishes. Tartare was absolutely wonderful, tagliata slightly less so — tasty but nothing to write home about. Pork ribs was ok. As desert we had chocolate and rhum gelato — now THAT was quite something! All in all, a pleasant experience.
TheForkUserIncredible food, wonderful service and the garden was perfect. I would highly recommend!
_TI***d6This agriturismo offers a delightful experience with its authentic local cuisine and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is made with high-quality ingredients, making every meal a treat!
TheForkUserGreat restaurant for lunch. Good food, affordable, kind & helpful staff. Grazie.
TheForkUserWe stayed at the hotel attached to the Horta restaurant the night before our cruise. the food and service was excellent. we would dine here again
TheForkUserI didn't expect to receive a 30% discount even though I made a reservation in advance, but they applied the discount to me upon confirmation of my reservation. It was a very dramatic restaurant and I was able to end the day with a decent dinner.
TheForkUserThe hand made pasta is highly recommended. The environment is simple and pleasant. The deserts are a must
TheForkUserVery nice setting and dining experience. Good attentive service. Excellent food. Veal cheeks were the best that I have had and the pici pasta was delicious. The wine list was exceptional- great bottle of vino nobile riserva.
TheForkUserSo to start, the food was really excellent and the place had really nice selection of wines and local delicatessen, it was cozy and in the city center, but the service was really bad. We felt like if we were not welcome and were too much to the place, they had cancelled our reservation as we arrived 14 minutes late, so after that we said we got lost in the medieval city on the way from the Pope's palace, they activated it again. But said this we have really felt the weight of not being wanted.
TheForkUserThe atmosphere, service, quality of the food were all excellent. We especially appreciated the waiter's patience with our limited Italian. In total our experience here was excellent and we'll dine here again the next we're in Grosseto.
TheForkUserEnjoyable food. More than 100 wines by glass to choose from and of good quality and reasonable prices. Good wine recommendations provided. Possibility to sit indoor and outdoor. Good service.
TheForkUserThe newly renovated restaurant and enoteca is perfect. We’ve been twice recently and it may be our favorite place in the Chiusi area!
TheForkUserWhat fantastic find the restaurant was, our meal was fantastic, the service was superb, the ambiance was perfect. We had fettuccine with mushrooms and steak with potato and vegetables- the flavours were perfect, thank you for a enjoyable dining experience
TheForkUserEvery year this restaurant and winebar is on our list. Always great. Very good food, great wines and lovely people. Never ever change a wi ning team. When in Montalcino, .... have lunch, drink wine or have dinner at Svaenen.
TheForkUserGreat atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food is ok nothing that will blow you away.
TheForkUserWonderful place- we sat outside and it felt like the whole town was eating dinner together. Cozy and family oriented with great food. Interior dining rooms were also super pretty.
TheForkUserThe wait staff are so attentive and give such good service. Pasta was delicious and desserts were even better. To top it off, coffee was divine.
TheForkUserVery thought out Italian cuisine. Somehow fancy & rustic. Everything was amazing including the sunset off the hillside of Tarquinia.
_TI***1oThis restaurant is a hidden gem with a charming ambiance and a menu that offers great value for money. The quality of the food is impressive, making it a must-visit.
TheForkUserConstantly changing interesting and very tasty seasonal menu , friendly and helpful service, great wine list .. perfect
TheForkUserWe booked at the last minute through The Fork, and in reality, the place was full. We were given the option to wait or to leave. The staff were nice except for the cashier, who seemed upset that we chose to wait (it was late and we weren't in the mood to look for something else). Other than that, the food was good.
TheForkUserWent for lunch. Loved it. Went back with friends for dinner a few days later. All dishes excellent including amazing sea food specials. The appetizers are large and enough for two. They split it for you. Very friendly family owners with good English
_TI***l8The owner is incredibly kind and attentive, making the dining experience feel personal and welcoming. The food quality is top-notch, especially the homemade dishes that showcase authentic Italian flavors.
TheForkUserWe come here twice a year. Best in Tuscany, staff and service and food is tops. Don’t come here we want this place to ourselves!
TheForkUserWe enjoyed an exceptional lunch at this charming restaurant. It is Michelin recognised and recognised by the Italian chefs association. This small family restaurant, owned and operated by generations since 1964, has beautiful views of the lake below. We did the ala carte menu. My wife loved the artichoke starter. We had the venison, our friends had the pigeon and loved it. The spice cake chocolate dessert was amazing. We had a beautiful local red wine, highly rated on Vivino and reasonably priced. The host, Luca, is the brother of the chef, Paulo Trippini, the bar next door is operated by their sister.
TheForkUserWe are frequent guests at Le Tartare yesterday we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary there enjoying a gift card from our son and daughter-in-law for lunch. We were presented with a long stemmed, red rose in a beautiful arrangement and crisp cold white wine when we arrived. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, and is only surpassed by the warmth of the staff and Maurizio! We have come to feel like family. We will return again again.
