$TheForkUserI want to begin with just few words for the food, then I'll talk about the rest: High quality food, I mean very high quality and research, but, on my advice, for the original price you have, would be better to give some more quantity.. As we entered a very warm welcome was given to us, a huge smile on the crew's faces. The atmosphere is something different from the same and standardized locals around the city, here you can feel they really wanted to avoid to become like others, rather create a new and not "I'm not like the others" contest.The cocktails were just amaz... No, help me to find a better word, because they were more than normal cocktails, they were product composed not only by "concrete ingredients" like liquors, acquavitae, ice, fruit, rather you could feel the passion, the love, the craziness, the research, the alchemy, the full immersion of the person who is behind the curtain, commonly known as Barman... Although he not only stayed behind the scenes, but came to know us in person, to better understand our flavors and make sure we would have enjoyed the best of our time.I would like to add so much more, but I think I centered the point, that this place is a MUST to try in Firenze at least once.Fuor d'acqua

TheForkUserThis was the perfect ‘last night in Tuscany’ experience for our family of 12 with the nicest of hosts. The hosts very graciously explained their menu, taking time for the translations and helping us with our order. We were fascinated by the chunk of meat that was to be grilled and the chef let us watch him grill it to perfection. The best part was that it was literally a farm to table experience and everything including the salt they use, is locally or regionally sourced. It was almost like being invited to this big Italian family dinner at their home and they even gave us a bottle of their own house wine to take home. How sweet is that? All the food upto desserts were exquisite and the perfect sweet ending. We really thank chef Sara, Daniella and all the staff for their wonderful service and especially the person who really explained to us about the steak and the cook (we unfortunately didn’t catch his name in all of the conversations!). Highly recommended for families and those yearning for a real Tuscan experience. It’s also located in a quaint setting that adds to the charm of the place.Trattoria Borgo Antico
