TheForkUserWe walked up to Omero from the center of Florence. Beautiful walk via the Bardini Gardens. We had reserved so had a table with stunning view. Food was excellent.
TheForkUserWe actually live above the restaurant. It’s a wonderful place with attentive service, fantastic steaks and the owner runs his restaurant with passion, creativity and skill.
TheForkUserBest meal of our time in Italy so far! The gnudi was melt in your mouth delicious and a steak hit the spot after too many pasta dishes. Friendly service and super reasonable prices. More casual (no linen tablecloths here) but we were dressed in jeans so fine with that. Highly recommend!
TheForkUserGood should have had T bone looked fantastic. What we had was very good. Service not so one waiter didn’t really try wine bucket missing etc. but overall I would diffently recommend 3 corses £98 with wine.
TheForkUserThis is an excellent restaurant. The food was quite exceptionally good and the staff were faultless and extremely pleasant with it. Thoroughly recommended.
TheForkUserFood was truly outstanding.Truffled eggs were superb. The sliced beef with rocket and parmesan flakes and ossobuco with saffron rice were divine. Some of the best food we ate in Florence.Booked with The Fork and discount was applied to our bill.
TheForkUserWonderful night. Had a La carte rather than tasting menu which made more variety for similar price. Gracious service, excellent creative dishes
TheForkUserWe discovered this restaurant the last time we were in Florence and knew we wanted to visit it again. We made a reservation for lunch, and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. This restaurant has a lovely vibe. Dom, our waiter, was happy to learn that we had come before and took excellent care of us. We both enjoyed one of our favorites - a Florentine specialty - the Ribollita, which is a bread and vegetable soup. It is a very hearty and filling soup. We also decided to share a Pizza Margherita, which was just perfect – a crisp crust topped with just the right amount of tomato sauce – mozzarella cheese and basil. My husband enjoyed the house white wine. This is a restaurant worth returning to when we visit Florence.
TheForkUserWe were greeted by friendly staff. The chef himself came to our table and took our orders. The food was extremely good and having two dogs with us was no problem. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
TheForkUserCulinaria Bistro De Gustibus is a must-visit! The dishes are both unique and expertly crafted, reflecting the chef’s deep passion for local ingredients, which are transformed into creative and irresistible culinary masterpieces. Every plate is a tribute to the region’s rich culinary traditions, executed with remarkable skill and gastronomic sensitivity.
TheForkUserFantastic seafood with great presentation. Upscale but worth it. Actually not that expensive given the food quality. Very broad selection of wine.
TheForkUserWe were surprised - delightfully so! - by this restaurant! The seafood was impeccably fresh and expertly prepared with a light hand. Service was friendly and knowledgeable - definitely recommend!
TheForkUserExtremely charming restaurant with an amazing view, sunset and extremely delicious food. Alessio the manager and all the staff were really welcoming.
TheForkUserWe thought this was an excellent choice, I loved everything about this restaurant. The only thing we would suggest to the owners is have some dimmers on the lights inside, they were way too bright! Everything else about this place was absolutely perfect!
TheForkUserExcellent food and staff. Totally recommend it
TheForkUserGabriel is warm and welcoming and puts the customer first. The menu is innovative and delicate. We loved it we went twice on our holiday. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserWe went to this restaurant because they could do gluten free. They were very helpful in explaining the dishes. The dishes were interesting and tasty and the wine very good for the price. I would have no hesitation in returning.
TheForkUserBravissimi! The service was super friendly, fast and accommodating. We went with our one year old daughter and everyone greeted her and chatted to her and the staff were checking if she was warm enough etc. Very sweet! We ordered the tagliata Toscana and it was abbondante! We should have stopped there. Our daughter had the most delicious pasta pomodoro and we had a pasta dish each. Mine was the primavera and my partner’s, the pinci with ragu. We had to ask for half portions because we were so full from the antipasto and even those were huge! Then at the time of the bill, they charged half price for the pasta. We were not expecting that and thought it was far too generous. The view from the restaurant is stunning too!Well worth a visit! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
TheForkUserAn inner courtyard surrounded by old walls creates a very cozy, private atmosphere. The food and wine list is very well selected and offers a few surprises. The service is attentive. Unfortunately, the red wines are served far too warm here too! It is a NO-GO to serve red wines at 25-30°C. Room temperature means 16-18°C !!But a really nice place that you can choose at any time for a wonderful and cozy dinner.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
TheForkUserLovely and lively atmosphere in a nicely presented and clean premises. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. Very good menu selection and all our dishes were nicely presented and well cooked/spiced. Tasty and generous portions. Recommend!
TheForkUserVery nice place. The menu is online but don’t underestimate the quantities by looking at the pictures: the food is a loooot!! We took a premi and a secondee. Too much. But excellent. Service also excellent. It’s next to a tennis club though and quite close to the road, even though higher up. But that did not disturb us at all.
TheForkUserVery welcoming owner, we felt well looked after and he ensured that we enjoyed an excellent evening in this small, authentic restaurant. The food was perfectly prepared with real dedication, the ingredients sourced locally, and was a pleasure to eat. The selection of wines available is wide and well worth a close look.
TheForkUserThe food is delicious with a very good range of choices, I had black pork with plums and my partner ate beef rib and roasties. Grilled vegetables were well seasoned and the quality of the meat showed. We were early diners so very little atmosphere to start but other diners quickly appeared to join us. A group of guys, some of them family working hard to make a success. I always think when the owner is on the premises, it is a good sign of confidence in their restaurant.
TheForkUserFantastic pizza (sfizioza and curiosa, the ones I tried), saltimbocca siculo, and classic calzone also really tasty. Try the beer by the bottle (IPA and Belgian ale), exquisite. The tiramisu is also excellent. All in all, a great pizzeria with wood-fired oven; fast and dedicated service. Prices are also very convenient.
