TheForkUserof the 3 restaurants visited over the Easter weekend this was my favourite for the food and wine. if there was a criticism it was that service was a little too quick. overall an excellent experience. we'll be back on our next visit to Florence
TheForkUserManager and staff were very attentive and kind. We are from Manhattan and have had sushi all over the place. This was 10/10!
TheForkUserThe staff are very friendly and the service is efficient. The food is fresh and tasty. We managed to finish all our dishes, would have been a pity to leave any sauce behind 😊 We had the best home made mango ice cream. It is definitely a place to visit if you feel like eating Indian food while in Florence.
TheForkUserThe staff was very kind. The food was nice. The location is particularly beautiful and quiet in the countryside yet close to downtown, on the road to Settignano. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with beautiful wooden furniture and bookcases
TheForkUserService was brilliant. Our waitress was so friendly and efficient. Good translation of complex dietary requirements and she offered a delicious compromise. Meal was a birthday celebration - whole fussy family loved their food - steak in proper said, chicken and artichoke and various pasta dishes. Extremely reasonable price when compared to other places we’ve eaten. Would definitely recommend highly.
TheForkUserThis is my favourite restaurant in Florence - the food is fresh - authentic and prepared with care - the ingredients are special and Damiano makes the front of house experience special each time - he is a master at choosing wine for each dish - Silvia is a master - home made pasta and simply the best gnocchi any where in the world.
TheForkUserIt is a very cozy place. the owner and the cook are very friendly and top notch. What to say about the food ….. AMAZING , yummy, homey, heartwarming and the feast for your palate. The menu is not very rich but every dish is delicious. It is guaranteed that you will not be disappointed if you visit the place .
TheForkUserGreat food, very attentive service and reasonable prices for the great quality. We had the saute di cozze starter, Their specialty pasta with smoked duck and truffles and grilled octopus and squid. Everything was top notch. We also had the pannacotta with chocolate and mint to finish off nicely. We highly recommend
TheForkUserTop restaurant in Radda. Great service, very good wines and delicous food. This combined with a great view, nice setting and a family running the restaurant with a passion for wine, food and people. We loved it!
TheForkUserThe restaurant was highly recommended by the owner of our rental villa, and it did not disappoint. They have a large outdoor terrace that was busy with many local patrons. The food was excellent (so many pizza options!) and was also very inexpensive which was a bonus. We enjoyed our dinner and are considering returning for another meal later in the week.
TheForkUserThe place, the food, and the wines were amazing. A wonderful experience. Also, we'd like to thank Michela for her attention and care with us. Hope to come back soon!
TheForkUserReally glad we found this restaurant. Looked nice as we passed by so we looked up the menu and made a reservation. The food was so tasty. We had the seared tuna and a pasta dish with creamed eggplant. Server was very polite even though we don’t speak Italian.
TheForkUserFantastic traditional Japanese food and service. A bit out of the centre but OMG worth the walk. Super fresh fish and we also ate the best pork belly ever.
TheForkUserStarter (alici fritte), pasta (carbonara di mare), and dessert (tartufo nero e lemon curd), all very much approved! Service friendly and welcoming. The place is somewhat less quaint than it looks in pictures. Excellent price-quality ratio with the Fork offer, but also without it would be acceptable. Overall, a good find!
TheForkUserThe restaurant is very nice and has a huge parking. Be aware that when the restaurant opens at 19:00 h doesn’t mean that they are ready for guests. This seems to be different in Italy than in other countries. So we ended up in disturbing them in their briefing/mutual dinner and preparation of the tables which made us feel uncomfortable as well. The boss was clearly not interested in doing business with a small table and didn’t manage to make a kind face until a big group was arriving. I wish that all the guys working there including the boss would have had a kinder attitude to all the guests of this restaurant. However the food and wine was good.
TheForkUserAbsolutely wonderfull grill. We took mixed grilled meat for two and it was all very tasty. Great prices for quality
_TI***l3This place is a hidden gem in Florence! The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The combination of flavors was impressive, and the service was top-notch.
TheForkUserLove this Armenian place, we've been here many times, it's authentic and the food is great! We always take Khaciapuri and some meat dishes, like shashlyk
TheForkUserThe service was phenomenal! Our waitress gave us tips, was pleasant, attentive, and even gave us recommendations for a local wine tasting place. The food always was delicious, including their Florentine steak. Salad. And appetizers! When we visit Florence again, we will definitely be back! Thank You for amazing service
TheForkUserI really enjoyed the cuisine and the overall quality of the food. The service was a bit slow, but the excellent location more than made up for it—especially convenient during the monthly flea market.
_TI***bkThe service at Octavin was friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-class dining adventure!
TheForkUserOur server Eduardo was fantastic. He was pleasant, easy going and told us about the olive oil history and explained the menu in detail
TheForkUserFabulous pizzas. We had the vegetable pizza and the Margarita. Such a lovely light base and really good toppings. Thoroughly enjoyes
