_TI***o3The Waldhaus Reinbek is a fantastic hotel with a stunning location surrounded by nature. The breakfast buffet is extensive and offers a wide selection, making it a great start to the day.
TheForkUserFirstly the food was excellent - although when I ordered a schnitzel I was expecting one and not two. Why not give people the opportunity to have a smaller portion - as with some other dishes? We ordered a bottle of Riesling and were a bit surprised when it was decanted. I thought it might be a new “hip ‘n’ trendy” thing - except that no other diners’ white wine seemed to have been decanted. I should have asked why ours had been but felt it was more trouble than it was worth. Our waitress was charming but rather patronising; I should have known better than to ask for an Aperol Spritz by way of an aperitivo. Lovely location. Just felt we failed to measure up the the restaurant’s expectations for their diners.
TheForkUserThe food was extremely delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and enjoyable. The waiters were also really friendly and warm people. That was my 3rd time there and every time I visit the restaurant I leave with full stomach and a great feelings.

TheForkUserGreat Food, Great Staff, Overall very good experience. Overall things were very good. We had a nice fire and the whole atmosphere was really nice.
TheForkUserNice place to chill. The food is quite tasty. Italian food, pizzas, pasta. Stuff was friendly. The building was under construction from outside, but it's not the fault of restaurant.
TheForkUserWe visited here for an early dinner on a sunday, using the 30% discount advantage (only for meals) via TheFork. The place was not crowded at all for a weekend. The atmosphere is quite nice and the toilets were very clean. Coming to the dishes, except some of the experimental ones, we were overall quite satisfied. Especially the meat place was delicious. Staff was very kind and friendly. As we used the discount, the price/performance was good but without that I believe it would be too much comparing to what we had. Especially the price of the 0,2L house wine was double of the 0,1L and was 8 Euros which is too much for a house wine. This could definitely be arranged differently.
TheForkUserAn exceptional meal for sure. Small, cozy and modern spot with an attention to detail plus the staff is multilingual and made excellent explanations of each dish. Highly recommend

Highly recommended - we will join you again soon!
TheForkUserWe really liked food and ambience. However life music part was soooo much 90th . The girl who sang was fantastic, but it just do not much... By the way, we allude breakfast there! Caviar is just fantastic. Absolutely recommend to spoil yourself!
TheForkUserFabulous cozy fine dining in the heart of the city. The food is superb and the service is exceptionally good.
TheForkUserI really enjoyed their signature fish dish with a wonderful mustard sauce and fried potatoes. The service was okay, but I would have expected to be shown the bottle and have a pour at the ta le, and some other minor refinements like bread knife and an explanation of what you are being served since there was a fish variety.
TheForkUserA superb addition to the Madison Hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A good menu choice. Dishes were well presented and very tasty.
TheForkUserThe owner is extremely attentive and tries to do his best. Food excellent and innovative. Pice in adequation with the restaurant. Maybe a little too innovative.
