Stopped by this place in Altona on a whim. Got the Bhö Cha, the salty butter tea — different, but good. Went well with the spicy chili paste on the side. Food was tasty, plating looked nice too. They’ve got Himalayan beer, which I didn’t expect. Cozy little spot, decent vibe.

Service was solid even though the place was packed. Our waiter knew the menu inside out and flagged a sesame allergy without us having to push. That kind of attention matters. I had a glass of dry Riesling with the fish—worked well. Only hiccup: we waited a bit for the bill. No big deal.

Cozy spot in Hamburg with a proper coffee ceremony — that alone was worth it. Food was solid too. Place is small, so booking ahead makes sense.

Been coming here for years, the jujeh kabab is always solid. Place looks nice inside too. Service gets a bit slow when they're packed, but that's fine with me. Good enough to keep me coming back.

I had a fantastic experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was delicious, especially the lamb, which was perfectly tender. The service was attentive, and the prices were reasonable.

Been here a few times for cakes now. They did a Simba one for my kid's first birthday, looked exactly like the picture I showed them. Solid work, will keep coming back.

I had a fantastic birthday celebration at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and the service was perfect, creating a wonderful experience.

I’m picky about sausage texture and this one was properly coarse, not over-processed. The curry sauce had a real kick, not sweet like some places. I went for the classic plate with extra sauerkraut on the side. Portion was decent for the price. Just wish the bread roll was warmer, that’s all.

Lived here for years, this is one of the few spots in Germany that nails Thai food. Grilled prawns had real charcoal taste. Ask for the Thai menu, way better than the regular one.

The veggie plate was decent, plenty of food for the price. Staff chatted with us while we ate, which was nice. Bowling after dinner was a fun extra, though it got a bit busy later. Portion size felt fair for what you pay, so no complaints there. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The lunch specials are decent and the focaccia at the start is a nice touch. I liked that they bring petit fours at the end, unexpected but pleasant. Service was friendly enough, though I did have to wait a bit for the bill. Seats are comfortable, which matters to me. Fine spot for a relaxed weekday meal.

Been here a few times over the years. Lunch menu is still pretty solid, soup through dessert all decent. Just wish they'd add more veggie stuff, feels a bit limited if you're not into meat. Place itself is comfortable enough to sit for a while, nothing fancy but fine.

The atmosphere at Piment is cozy and inviting, perfect for a special occasion or a romantic dinner. The friendly service adds to the overall charm of the restaurant.

The hot pot is the reason to come here. We called ahead so they could prep it, and it was worth it. Broth was rich, ingredients tasted properly fresh. We've been coming for years, and it still holds up. Just wish the veggie selection had a bit more variety this time.

I don’t get the lower reviews—this place is a gem. The raspberry and apple strudels are heavenly, and the staff are friendly. Sitting outside on a nice day with coffee and sweets is a great way to spend an afternoon.

The back seating area is really charming — old building vibes make it feel cozy. Would've loved a bit more light though.

Stopped by for lunch — fresh ingredients, portions were solid. Free bread and butter on the side was a nice bonus. Nothing fancy, but it worked.

The squid ink paella was solid—proper Spanish flavors without the plane ride. Tapas hit the spot too. Service was friendly enough, though nothing fancy. Decent spot if you're in the area.

The curry udon hit the spot for a quick lunch. Broth’s thinner than actual curry sauce, more like a soupy version. Still tasty though. Place was quiet enough to actually think. Fine for what it is.

The lemongrass beef with bamboo shoots and zucchini hit the spot—nice heat, came out piping hot. Portion was decent for the price. Service was quick too.

The lemon tart was really good, and I liked sitting outside to watch the city go by. Service was friendly enough, though it took a moment to get the bill.

Nice spot right on the river. Had the Finkenwerder plaice, fresh and cooked properly. Staff were professional, no complaints. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Big portions, fair prices, service on point. Strauss never disappoints.

The sushi was fresh, nicely balanced, not overloaded with spices. Service friendly and professional. It’s not the cheapest place, but the quality speaks for itself. I liked the quiet atmosphere too, no loud music, just the sound of people eating. Felt right for a relaxed evening.

Food and atmosphere both great.Chief Mr Ergun Uysal made it perfect lunch for us.You cant miss this place.Strongly recommend frog leg.and finish with good crep with axsip of good japanesse malts
