Tucked away in a quiet street, maybe 10-15 min from the center. Food was solid, service really on point. Place got packed fast though, so better book ahead.

The owner clearly puts real care into this place, you can feel it the moment you walk in. Food was solid, nothing mind-blowing but comforting. Service got a bit scattered when the rush hit, we waited a while for drinks. Still, I left with a good feeling. Would come back to try more off the menu.

Came for dinner, place looks nice inside. Got the pasta and a cocktail. Food was alright, nothing crazy. Drink was a bit weak honestly. Fine if you're nearby but I wouldn't go out of my way. Service was quick though.

Reserve ahead—this place fills up fast. The food was delicious, though the noise level made it hard to chat. Popular spot for good reason.

Came here with a friend who’s vegan—she had plenty to pick from, which is rare around here. I ordered a drink and honestly, the portion was massive. We couldn’t even finish half of it. Felt a bit wasteful, but for what you pay, you definitely get a lot. Service was friendly too, no complaints on that end. Just come hungry if you’re getting a cocktail.

Came for a quick bite before the holidays. Place was packed, but we still got a table fast. Food came out quick too, which I appreciated. Had the roast special — solid, nothing fancy, but hit the spot. Service was friendly enough despite the rush. Good spot if you're short on time and hungry.

Solid brunch spot. Eggs Benedict were actually decent, not too runny. Coffee came fast, food took a bit but whatever. Place was busy for a Sunday, still got a table without waiting long. One of the better casual spots I've hit in Hamburg lately. Nothing fancy, just does the job.

The vegan currywurst really surprised me—proper texture, not just some sad substitute. Place has a nice buzz to it, staff were friendly too.

The chicken burger here really stood out. Patty was juicy, clearly fresh — not one of those frozen things. Fries were solid too, crispy enough. Place was busy but service kept up fine. Only thing, prices are a bit steep for a casual burger spot. Still, I'd take this over the usual fast food chains any day.

Came here for the view from upstairs—watched the ships roll by while sipping a glass of wine. That alone was worth it. They’ve got bottles to take home too, prices are decent. Service was friendly, no complaints. Just a solid spot to kill an hour or two.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Pierogi were solid, came out fast. Big portions too, which I didn't expect. Place was busy but I still got my food in good time. That's all I really need. Maybe a bit cramped inside, but fine for a quick bite.

The grilled fish was fresh, no complaints there. I asked the waiter for a wine suggestion and he actually knew his stuff—picked a dry Riesling that cut through the richness perfectly. Sitting in that open atrium with all the plants felt a bit like being in a greenhouse, but in a good way. Would come back just for that pairing.

Came here for a casual lunch and the view of the Elbe really is something. Food was decent, nothing fancy, but the fish was fresh. Service was fine, not hovering. The room itself is pretty bare, but that kind of works for the vibe. I'd sit by the window again, just for the river.

Stopped by after the Sunday market. Got the fish sandwich — solid, fresh, no fuss. Price was fair too. Service was friendly and quick, which is all I really need for a lunch break. Place was a bit busy but moved fast. Would grab another one if I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Schnitzel and potatoes did the job. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Service was fast, which I appreciate. Place has that homey vibe, not too loud. Decent if you're in the area and hungry.

Fresh ingredients, no question. I grabbed the build-your-own salad and added some grilled chicken—solid choice. Place was spotless, ordering went quick. Prices are a touch steep for what you get, but I'd still swing by again. A crisp Sauvignon Blanc would've paired nicely with it, honestly.

Decent food for a brewery—came out hot and tasty. Plates could've been warmer, but the beer's the real reason to stop by.

Stopped by with our dog after a walk—they brought water and a treat right away. Food was solid, nothing fancy. Fine for a casual stop.

Stopped by for a few beers and a pizza. The hazy IPAs are really solid, probably the best thing they pour. Around 20 taps, mostly their own stuff. Pizza works fine as a sidekick, nothing fancy. Kitchen got a bit slow once it filled up, but we weren't in a rush. Fine spot if you're into craft beer.

Really good food , sushi were very good. However, we did not understand the chef special menu concept fully so ended up ordering too much food. I guess the server could have told us to be clear and repeat the order but they did not so took the chance to make more of the situation. So they refused to take back the order, and we ended up carrying Sushi for next 2 days as packed meals!

The food was good and with the discount was worth it but I’m not sure if I would pay the full price though. The restaurant itself is really nice and beautiful and in a good location. Unfortunately we had some trouble with the person that was serving us: he wouldn’t listen to us when we asked about the food that was taking too long, he took some time to bring the drinks to the table (even though it wasn’t that full), at first he wouldn’t let us pay separately, we had to ask him three times for the bill and then we had to walk over to him until he finally charged us and then FORGOT the app discount (even though we discussed this with him many times before) and he had to give us the money back in cash (at least that). It’s not the first time that I went there and I’ve had a great experience before, that’s why we decided to eat there again… but I don’t know if after this experience I will be coming back.

The food was excellent, especially the schnitzel, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality.

The food quality is consistently high, and the staff is friendly and motivated. It's a place I enjoy returning to for its excellent seasonal regional cuisine.

Stopped by for breakfast twice during my stay. Coffee was solid, no complaints there. Pastry selection is fine but honestly the croissant I had was a bit dry, not the flaky buttery thing I hoped for. For the price though, it's okay. I've paid way more for worse in other places. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're nearby it does the job.

Decent pub for a casual evening. Tried the kangaroo currywurst—pretty good twist. Beer list had solid Aussie options, though the one I wanted on tap was out. Fine spot overall.

Pizza was loaded with toppings and tasted fresh. Crust got a bit soft though. Prices felt okay for being at the airport.
