TheForkUserAdrian gave exemplary service to myself and those customers nearby. Good knowledge of the meal and drink options. Really tasty Farfalle salmon pasta with fresh salmon on the top. A few dishes were sold out but plenty of choices.
TheForkUserThe food was excellent and the ambience very pleasant. The only thing to note was the waiting time for the food to arrive and the fact that the reservation was lost. However we were sat straight away.
TheForkUserThis is our 2nd time to the restaurant our first was 5 years ago - we’re from Australia the food, service & beautiful decor & ambiance plus views was just as amazing as our first visit … highly recommend to anyone ..
TheForkUserAmbiance, food and staff. Very friendly and lively place. My favourite restaurant owned by Thais so the food is authentic.
TheForkUserLovely service, lovely food. Should be clearer that it's in a (superb) retirement village, we're happy with that and will be back, but might not be for everyone
TheForkUserAs always, good service and good food. Cranberry sauce, etc needed topping up. We were one of the last tables to leave but at no point did we feel rushed. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserI’ve been eating at Toby Horsforth for years and have never had a problem with any of the carvery meals there. The staff have always been professional so I can’t knock anything at all.
TheForkUserWe had a friendly welcome. Staff were very friendly and helpful all evening. Lovely relaxed atmosphere food and service very good.
TheForkUserThe staff were very pleasant, professional and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was top notch. The waiting time for a Sunday wasn’t that bad and all the staff made sure we were okay with our table , meal and drinks.
TheForkUserFirst time here for many years. Great food, great service and good selection of beer's etconly one grumble, ordered a side dish of Dauphinoise potato's somewhere around the £3 mark. they arrived welded into a small ramakin dish and nice as they were there wasn't much more than a desert spoon full. Otherwise very happy an would recommend.
TheForkUserThis is now our go to carvery. Every visit is the same good service, good quality food and very welcoming, even if we have not booked a table. Thanks
TheForkUserA get together with a friend, lovely Sunday lunch. Pub very busy. We booked our table which I would recommend. Our waitress was great, very attentive. The manager looked stressed! When extra tables had to be sorted out. Food very nice, hot and plentiful. I’d recommend Toby’s but Sunday is incredibly busy not that made our meal any less pleasant. Well with a visit.
TheForkUserWe arrived a few minutes early but it wasn’t a problem, our table was ready for us. We got our drinks promptly and ordered from the two course lunch menu. The food was excellent freshly cooked and we didn’t have to wait long. Pudding was syrup sponge and I had it with ice cream, usually this is served on the plate and melts next to the hot sponge. The Harvester serves it in a metal bucket, so it stays cold. Our server was friendly and made suggestions on our food choices, we will definitely return.
TheForkUserReally friendly service. The carvery was all quite fresh, gammon turkey pork beef and lamb to choose from. Vegetables were good especially roast potatoes, we will definitely be back!
TheForkUserMet two cousins of mine . We had a really good time . Good catch up . The service was great . Food brilliant . My cousins had never been there before . We went with my suggestion. Thought it was great . Definitely be back . What was nice the staff didn’t keep interrupting us . Would recommend it to anyone .
TheForkUserExcellent, warm, friendly service. Food was absolutely delicious. It was my husbands birthday and they made us feel so special.
