I am from Melbourne and was in Barossa for a day of wine tasting.  Decided to have dinner before driving back to Adelaide.  The food and wine were excellent.  The service was impeccable.  I would highly recommend it.

A favourite of ours. Unfortunately tonight one meal took substantial longer than the rest. Quality very good as always however.

Absolutely amazing food, all came out about the same time for all 22 of us. Great service, friendly staff. Would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be going back a lot as we live up the road ???? thank you  the lodge. We had the best time ????

Food was exceptional and service was great, we booked but being a Sunday night it was quite. Wait /bar staff were friendly and approachable.

The Food all cane at the same time, as requested.Well prepared, presented and tasty.Only downside is that I left some Onion Rings for after, since they were cold, so was the cooking oil in them and didn&#39;t taste nice.  The Hot Onion Rings were Beaut!!!

3rd visit and didn&rsquo;t disappoint. Service could not be friendlier or more efficient. Went for 4 small plates this time and all were generous and tasty. Prices reasonable and menu varied with a lot of choices for all. Will be back soon.

The atmosphere was lovely, with a beautiful setting near the water. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great spot for lunch.

The service was just great, the food excellent. There was nothing that i could see amiss. The Ceasar Salad and beef curry was just to die for.. Great Pub and good service.

I just wanted to say what a great experience we had today. We booked there because of the playground, and it was an excellent and thoughtful addition to the hotel. The food was excellent. Fresh chicken parmigiana and the roast was by far the best meat I&rsquo;ve had at any hotel/cafe in a very very long time. The only thing that could have made me enjoy it more would have been a veggie bake instead of steamed veg (no one does that anymore though). The meal sizes were generous. Service was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised at how great our dining experience was today - Thankyou!

This restaurant we have selected to go to a number of times, we have never had a bad meal and have always had excellent service.

This hotel is super, staff are very friendly and always have a smile on there face.All food ordered by the family, they were all happy with their meal

I booked a private room for my birthday dinner and the room was all set up and looked amazing. The food has and always on points highly recommended.

We stayed for ages, some of the front end staff even left and came to aya goodbye and merry Christmas.  No hurry to get rid of us either. Foor is delicious..pizza had lots of toppings!

Staff was friendly, lovely atmosphere, and loved the pancakes with maple syrup + ice-cream. The Eggs Benedict had a different kind of muffin to the usual type which we really enjoyed. Dishes very well presented.

Have been there many times and enjoy the food my only criticism is they only have two pizzas with anchovies and the one we got !&rsquo;thelot&rsquo;&rsquo; did not have enough of them

fast friendly and efficient service as always and with the new revamped menu AND the return of the buffet . . . i still dont see any reason why we cannot continue to enjoy the wonderful meals that we keep receiving there. great work guys, we love coming back time and time again ????☺️

Great service for the friendly staff and the food is great definitely can&rsquo;t complain at all happy to make this my regular place when I visit Adelaide

The food was exceptional tonight, more spicy than normal which was fine. Hubby had the beef cheeks so much meat in his serve, I have the Chicken Tikka - took 1/2 home again big serves, lovely staff and great tasty food

welcoming, relaxed and beautiful setting at sunset . Zac who waited on us  was friendly and service was excellent. The Steak was excellent : the Chicken was mildly dry . The creme brulee  was average.  But overall a nice night

First visit to the Tavern, certainly will not be the last!  Great food, friendly staff.  Great atmosphere in very pleasant surroundings.  Love being able to order and pay at your table!Would recommend!  Booked on-line for four.  Easy booking system!  Enjoyable experience, everything so easy.
