TheForkUserSchmidt's restaurant in Hellerau is a must for every foody in Dresden! Ever since we moved here in 2003, we return to this place and enjoy great food at a VERY reasonable price. Yesterday we chose the 5-course surprise menu, which gives you a pretty good impression of the kitchen's variations. Coming with a price tag of only 48 Euros, this 5-course meal is a really great value. Go there and you won't be disappointed, promise! Also the service was very attentive, effective, and nice. The room was a little chilly for us, thus not a perfect 10, but 9.5+ overall rating and a high recommendation!

TheForkUserWe were looking for a steakhouse in Dresden and discovered the Meatery and we’re not disappointed. There were four in our party and decided to share a Tomahawk Steak that was amazing, everyone was able to have steak the way the liked I’d from medium to medium rare, cooked & seasoned just right, we really enjoyed the presentation of the platter and side dishes. The staff helped pair it with an incredible bottle of Italian Red wine and the evening only got better. I look forward to the next time we visit Dresden and have the opportunity to visit again.
